St Peter’s church Tilton

A beautiful serene place. The church overwhelmed me with a wonderful sense of heavenly calm and peace. I thank God for this idyllic place in its tranquil rural setting in the incredibly attractive countryside of high Leicestershire. The church is a place of antiquity and there is a lot of history associated with it, including memorials dating back to the 12th century. The churchyard which I sat down in to eat my lunch added to the sheer unrestrained joy I experienced in this place. I pray that this church will continue to be a place of glory and worship to God for many years to come.
