Lucy has been working with my husband and I for the last 3 years, due to the pandemic. We'd booked Lucy for a spring 2020 wedding, back in 2019 and due to cancellations, didn't get to use her fabulous skills until May 2022!Lucy has been a wonderful person to keep in touch with regarding any cancellations/changes of the wedding date(s). There was never a price hike, which an odd couple of wedding providers had added on....Lucy was always helpful and prompt in getting back to me, which was important when you're moving a wedding for the third time :)Lucy is very friendly and personable and has a genuine love of her craft. When our wedding guests sent us their own photos they had taken, you can see Lucy always smiling and happy in her work. The wedding pictures are beautiful and we are spoilt for choice, as to which ones to pick for Lucy to print out for us.I can't recommend Lucy enough to anyone who is considering using her skills for beautiful photographs to be taken. From the start of our wedding journey, when we first met Lucy, she made us feel at ease, to the end of our journey and her fabulous customer service and making sure that we are happy with the pictures we have.Lucy is a fabulous photographer, she is professional and discreet in her work and produces photos that capture amazing moments that my husband and I will treasure forever.Thank you Lucy! x x

My partner and I got married recently and had Lucy taking the photographs. We were apprehensive at first, not being the best at posing and the like, but on the day Lucy did a marvellous job getting excellent pictures.We also liked how Lucy engaged with people at the wedding. When we were talking to people after the wedding a large number mentioned how pleasant it had been to talk to her, and how pleasant she was: naturally Richard and I agree! She was helpful throughout the preparations, always happy to chat about any thoughts/concerns and made this element of the planning much easier.After the wedding, while Lucy was working through the photos, she also kept us up to date with her progress and sent us preview photos. On receiving the photos she also advised us that if we wanted any photos to be edited she would happily do so if we got in touch with her.The final product received was excellent, a selection of photos came in a nice box along with memory stick with all our photos on.All in all we couldn't have asked for more and will be getting in touch with Lucy when it comes to future events we want photographing.

I hired Lucy for my graduation photos again (second time) and her work was nothing short of SUPERB, the way she captures photos is so unique to who she is as a photographer. The photos she takes captures people so authentically to who they are, she captured my two younger sister's (16 and 18 years old) chatting away, tying each other's strappy heels, showing each other things on their phones as they TikTok-ed in between poses, me putting lipstick on my sisters and my mum and I making inside jokes as we savoured the moment of me graduating again. Lucy has great sense of detail, is creative, warm and punctual as always. I am elated with my photos as I knew I would be and this is another special occasion that Lucy has captured so beautifully for me and my family. Thank you, thank you! You know I will keep coming back.

Lucy took some photographs of my daughter. I felt really relaxed in her studio and I was impressed with her professional approach.

We used Lucy for our wedding photographer just over a month ago. She has a very relaxed and personable nature, which we thought would be perfect for our wedding.All I can say is she was brilliant, she was like one of the guests, chatting and mixing with everyone all the time snapping away, catching all the bits we missed on the day with been so busy.She did all the staged shots we wanted and came up with a few ideas but her real strength is her informality. All our guests loved her, she just did not stop all day.We were also very luck as Lucy did a photo booth for us as well and the pictures were some of our favourite of the day, beautifully lit and shot. Just so much fun and I highly recommend to add it on as it gives you a fun record of your evening guests.The wedding pictures came in a beautiful wood box with a sample of prints and the rest (and there is a lot of pictures ) came on a memory card, which Lucy personality delivered last night.We love her and cannot recommend her enough , thanks Lucy for doing such a fantastic job xx Paul & Paul

Lucy was amazing. She had the patience of a saint while herding our large and unruly family, and succeeded in getting all of the requested shots in an un-rushed yet timely manner. Her great banter and friendly personality put everyone at ease and the photos came out looking fantastic.

I've used Lucy Cartwright over the years. She makes me feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and is the the most perfect photographer. She also manages to capture the perfect amount of staged and candid photos - including some sexy and classy pics. Talented photographer. I highly recommend Lucy.
