It was closed for lunch break between 1 and 2 but after that they helped me really quickly. Lovely lady who was very helpful

Called before showing up to ask if the office was open, told yes until it’s shuts for lunch at 1-2pm(which is also not listed on Google opening times). Showed up at 12:35 and was told it’s shut until shift change at 1pm - which I was not told when I called? Asked if they were shut for lunch afterwards and was told no - was told I could wait until the shift change was done and come back in at 1:10pm. I waited outside in the heat for 25 minutes, came back inside to be served at 1:10pm and was told they were shut for lunch until 2pm? This makes absolutely no sense! Could have saved me the wasted lunch hour and sent me home the first time I went in! Have complained about this on the post office official website.

Dreadful service. Went to collect a parcel after the Royal Mail app sent me a collection notification. The postal worker gave up looking for it and said I should “call someone”. Who I am supposed to call remains a mystery and my parcel is presumably either lost or buried under the big, unsorted pile of mail strewn around the till area.From past experience they seem to also make up their own opening times so good luck getting service if they’ve suddenly decided to take a long lunch or a half day. Awful!

Awful. I just went to return a parcel before I go away for the weekend and there was a sign saying the tills were closed so to go to the tills in the shop. I waited in line for about ten minutes only to be told I had to take the parcel to the post office. I explained the signs that were there and the poor person on the till just looked confused. She did try to get me help but she was there from another store. When she asked her colleague, her colleague just said ‘She has to take it to the post office’ so I again had to explain that there was no one at the one counter that was open. I specifically left time in my travel plans to return this package and googled the opening hours ahead of time. I should have had at least 45 minutes left for the post office to be open. Now I have to take my package on holiday and try to find a post office.

Parcel delivered to this branch as local to my home, as I work mon-fri I thought it'd be easier to collect from here on a Saturday. Went to collect parcel today only to find this branch only opens mon-fri and the hours vary to suit themselves!! How on earth is anyone who works weekdays supposed to use this branch!!!

I'm trying to pick up my parcel for so many times, every evening even before 5pm is closed. What's going on? I need my parcel ASAP

Its never open, it says is open Monday to Sunday but its a lie, I went to Monday at 12pm and again…it was closed, reason was ‘they don’t have enough staff’. Let see if Im going to be able to pick up my parcel or not!!

The post office is open like all others, i.e. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.!! the break is from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The post office is located in the M'Coll's Store, which is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Use your brains! And don't write nonsense because you only mislead people

This PO branch has been 'closed' 4 out of the last 5 times I've been even though it was advertised as being open (checked the website before going) and I'd arrived well before it should have officially closed. On 2 of the occasions the woman was still behind the counter but had decided to close early for whatever reason and was unnecessarily curt with me when I asked if it was closed. The one time it was open, there was a lovely, friendly lady there who was covering from Fife. Yet again, it was closed today and I'd rushed there after work to post some important documents. Give this place a miss because it's closed more than it's open.
