Lovely place, amazing accommodation, very cozy, nice and tidy! Great drinks and food available. I strongly recommend the Cajun chicken and the Kentucky burger if available (they're on the specials menu). Food comes in big portions for a really good price.

An amazing place, I only stayed for 2 nights but wish I’d booked for longer. I had the Du Maurier Suite; a quirky suite of rooms above the bar that were really comfortable and had everything I needed. The service at the bar was perfect, always a friendly face to serve you. The menu is quite short but still a good choice. Each room also has a parking space allocated so there’s no issue with parking.

We visited this little gem whilst staying in Polperro last week on our last day and it was a lovely little place. Staff were very friendly. Pub was very clean, including the toilets. Had a very cosy feel about it. We sat outside and the views are lovely. Good range of food and drink, not badly priced and very generous portions.

Very dated room was not very good flys squash on walls ,damp areas, windows not cleaned , screws on carpet tread raised catch your skin, shower doors leak on floor, basin cracked plus several tiles cracked not a very good experience. Needs redecorating area up the stairs full off fag butts, walk ways uncleanedWe have stayed there several times before not a fault in the past but a chain as taken over not very good will not be staying again unless rooms are better ,Staff are very very good there hands tried, can not fault the staff

I stopped for food. I had the pie of the day which was Steak and Ale. The pie was good quality, nice chunks of meat. The mash was good, tasted nice and buttery. It would have been nice if the onion rings were homemade. Apart from that, it’s a nice pub with nice food.

A nice pub with good service and and some good choices of beers on the bar, massive beer garden outside to enjoy a pint in the sun across from the bus stop.10 minutes walk away from the polperro harbour.Didn't stop here so I can't rate the rooms

Stopped in after a days walking. Good range of refreshments, inside full of charm, ample seating outside to make the most of the weather. Quite a few gluten free options on menu as aswell, prices not out of the way. And if you are a bit worn out from the coast path, bus stop is in shuffling distance.

Only stayed for a few drinks and snacks. Reasonably priced, clean toilets and dog friendly! Could do with a clean up outside but really inside, would definitely return!

Called in for a snack on the way up the hill from Polperro. The sandwiches are a meal on their own, very well filled with a helping of coleslaw and a handful of crisps. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cannot say about the rooms as we were day trippers.

Did not stay here but came for a meal. Service can be a bit slow as it is very busy at times but the food is great. We had the fish cakes on the specials board and the salt and pepper squid. Both meals were fantastic- very tasty. Beer and wine to complement the meal was really good.
