I contacted Hoad & Taylor on 9th September in order to book an appointment to have my Rayburn cooker serviced as they appeared to be a credible and reputable company that states on their website as being an “Authorised Aga Specialist” displaying Aga/Rayburn logos.I was given an appointment for an engineer to attend my property between 08:00 - 09:30 today (2nd October 2019).When I told a good friend of mine that I had booked a service with Hoad & Taylor, he grimaced and told me that he had used the company a number of years ago and that he was extremely dissatisfied with the company when they came to service his Aga.Being a fair person, I decided to give Hoad & Taylor the benefit of the doubt as my friend’s experience was a few years ago. However, having not received written / email confirmation regarding my agreed appointment with Hoad & Taylor and concerns raised by my friend, I contacted them again and asked them to confirm the appointment date and time by email…which they duly did.Like most people, I am an extremely busy person and running two business as I do, it was an inconvenience, but necessity to take time away from my work in order to have the Rayburn serviced.The appointed time slot of 08:00 - 09:30 duly came and went with nobody attending or calling me to say that the engineer was running late. New Aga Rayburn 460k fitted, within 2years the towel rail dropped off. Parts under warranty but labour will be charged. So be aware you will be charged to rebuild poor & faulty workmanship.The appliance was obviously not fit for purpose.Very disappointed.

Found Sue extremely helpful when ordering our Induction AGA. Their guys transported the new oven into the kitchen where we wanted it rather than just doing a doorstep delivery too. All round great service!

Great service, spoke to Mark today regarding some parts I needed for an AGA MK3 which he had in stock and I was able to collect, also I appreciated the fact he checked I was a gas safe register engineer before proceeding with supplying the parts.

We bought our AGA R7 from Hoad and Taylor and from start to finish our experience was first class. We had numerous conversations before we bought ours and the advise we were given was clear and informative and made us feel confident in our choice. We were kept in the loop all the time until installation and on the day the team who carried our our install worked brilliantly. They were tidy and efficient and talked us through our oven when finished. Our overall experience was great and I would have no problem in recommending Hoad and Taylor if you are considering an AGA.Julie and Rob.

Dishonest and rude. They quoted us £1400 to replace motor and heater just because of a loose wire at the front. Got the repair done ourselves, now they are trying to charge us over £100 call out fee for a 1 minute visit. We will report these people to the ombudsman as they are crooks.

The worst after sales service I have ever experienced in my life. my parents who are in their 80's have a Rayburn Novelle Oven which was purchased from this company a number of years ago. The whole boiler system has malfunctioned and they have been without hot water and heating for over 2 weeks during winter. The only date they can offer to repair and service this oven and boiler is in January 2021 , it is now October 2020 so they are expecting my parents to wait 3 months over the winter with no heating or hot water. Is this level of service due to their age and their vulnerability ?. How can they be left and abused in this manner ? I think this is downright disgusting , the company representative refused to help because they were't interested , they seem only interested in selling new cookers not helping existing customers. The worst company in Surrey UK.
