Nirvana Vets - Home-Visit Euthanasia

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Nirvana Vets specially Deirdre who came and put our beloved 13 year old boy Toby to sleep in the comfort of his own bed and home. Our boy hated the vets and had Nirvana not existed, Toby would of had to go to the place he hated and be traumatised for his last moments.It was a huge step for us to make the call to Nirvana but the staff were so supportive, sympathetic and kind.Cannot thank Deirdre enough, she came to the house and made us and Toby feel very at ease, explaining the whole process and in our own time, we wasn’t rushed in any way. He was so peaceful and suffered no trauma at all.We highly recommend Nirvana if your pet hates the vets, its such a more personal peaceful environment at home not having to walk out to a waiting room full of people after having a pet put to sleep.Toby was hand delivered back to us at home so no stress going to pick him up. Nirvana vets were wonderful when we had to have our little Leila put to sleep. She died peacefully at home, the vet Kate was very kind and understanding. We were so pleased we used this service, the lady who answered our telephone call and the vet were very caring.

Our dear boy Alfie had been diagnosed with arthritis and more recently kidney disease he was 14 and 4 months.Sadly overnight he had a sudden decline in his health and was unable to stand up. Upon contacting my vet I discovered they didn't do home visits, they recommended Nirvana.From the initial first call to Alfie coming home to us the service, care and compassion we received was excellent.Kate arrived within four hours of my call, It is such a heartbreaking thing to do but Kate reassured us this was the right decision for Alf, not too soon, nor too late. She thoroughly explained the process to us all, we were not rushed.Alfie was able to remain snuggled up on his favourite spot, the sofa with us all holding and talking to him as he drifted off to sleep.We chose to have Alfie cremated individually and his ashes were returned to us by Mhari packed so beautifully with much care and attention.I am so grateful to Kate, Alfie had the most peaceful and comfortable goodbye, easier for him and us as a family. We miss him so much. But we have wonderful memories of a truly amazing boy.

Donna and myself would like to thank Sam and everyone at Nirvana for their compassion and kindness in helping our beautiful girl Toffi leave this world free from pain and peacefully.We can't thank you enough for everything you did for her on the day and after. She wasn't afraid and as she drifted off her eyes looked up at us as if to say thank you for my life.Again, thank you to all of you at Nivarna.

We want to thank Kate for her compassion, empathy, and complete professionalism when we had to make one of the most difficult decisions to say good bye to our beautiful baby girl . This service is absolutely amazing , our beautiful girl was relaxed in her own environment and with her family until the end .Thank you to nirvana vets and especially Kate. ❤️

When the time came to say goodbye to our Beautiful Breeze we knew we wanted her to be at home in her favourite spot on the sofa. Our vets recommended Nirvana vets and we're so glad we used them. Kate that came to help Breeze along into her forever sleep was kind, compassionate and so gentle. Kate made sure we didn't have any unanswered questions and nothing was to much trouble. Our other basset was allowed time to see his sister to help him understand she has gone. Thank you Kate. We really appreciated how kind you were.

Absolutely outstanding service, full of compassion and professionalism. Kate was amazing, reassuring us and supporting in those difficult moments, when we were saying our last goodbyes to our beloved Kora. Thank you so much, I can’t recommend you enough Kate.

We recently has cause to use Nirvana Vets for our beloved dog Lexi. From the moment I contacted them they were very caring. The whole experience on the day was very peaceful and gave us such comfort to have her with us at home. I would not hesitate to recommend Nirvana Vets they show such care and compassion.
