Robert is an excellent craftsman and really involves the customer in the projects progress with his video updates and prompts to provide any comment on design etc.

The whole experience of commissioning a piece from Robert has been brilliant. He was really responsive and able to capture what I was after, and happy to adjust it in response to feedback from me on the design. Robert sent regular video updates which was wonderful to feel part of the piece’s development and to see it take shape. Robert’s passion and enthusiasm was always evident, and I really appreciated how important it was to him that the piece was of the best quality and effect that it could be. I’m already considering what else I could commission!

Robert designed and hand carved a beautiful sign for our business. This was something that meant a lot to us. Robert was one of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of collaborating with. He took notes of all of our ideas and created exactly what we had envisioned- actually even better than what we had initially planned! He is and will always be our go to person for future projects as our small business grows. He creates video updates which are very exciting to watch, we actually sent them to family members and friends to watch too because it was a very special thing for us. They enjoyed the videos as much as we did! He really takes the time to involve you in the process and makes you appreciate all the small details. We commissioned a new house sign from Ingrained Culture and we are delighted with the unique design. The brief was to create a sculpture of the local landscape, including a very distinctive hill. The result is remarkable! Robert researched the subject in great detail, kept us informed with weekly video-updates and applied his skills, artistry and patience to achieve a unique design which captures the essence of our landscape. Moving from the original brief, through design stages and production was great fun at every stage, with opportunities for us to engage in the whole process. The attention to detail, the information about the timber and the build process were all fascinating. The high grade finish is totally impressive.
