Captain Ridley's Shooting Party
Easy 4 stars.Pleasant service and the food arrived swiftly. The usual value for money from Wetherspoons. Poached egg isn't easy to get right, and this one was marginally overcooked.Never mind, well worth visiting, particularly on a sunny or dry day (started raining) to enjoy the impressive beer garden landscaping at the back.

Ordered an American Burger with Cheese (£5.86), when it arrived, it looked like a kid’s portion and the quality was very average plus burger was a bit charred. Very disappointing… not coming here again…

Come here for food, Took ages for it to get to us. The food was done and ready but took half hour to get to us to the point we had to go back up to get our own food, then was waiting another half hour for dessert to the point we had to go back up there and ask when it’s coming. when they got put up for it to get given to us they dropped it in front of us.Plates was left on tables around us and got taken away after around 1 hour and a half of being here

Captain Ridley's Shooting Party
We visited Captain Ridley’s Shooting Party in June 2023. The pub is huge and wonderfully decorated, with a massive beer garden to the rear and plenty of outside seating at the front. The pub is full of history, with references everywhere to nearby Bletchley Park from the enigma machine to the bombe machine-inspired carpet.Check out our website or visit our socials (@wethowanderers) to read our full review of the pub!

Live close by and visit this place regularly - food is almost always perfectly served quickly and the staff are lovely. So glad to have such a nice Wetherspoons in Bletchley, it’s really a hub in the high street. Has a fully accessible changing places toilet too, for those who need it.

I've always eaten here and been very happy with the food and service. But over the past few months the staff have become more miserable and the food is sometimes terrible.I recently ordered a steak meal. For myself and my husband. It was undercooked & cold. I complained to the manager. He said on a Monday there were no cooks in the kitchen, only trainees. We were left £30 out of pocket and very hungry as the meals were inedible. Will not be using them again.

A great themed pub in Bletchley, that has Bletchley park, the home of the second World War code breakers, with memorabilia about the park in picture frames on the walls of the pub.About a 10 to 15 minute walk to Bletchley park, and near the shops in the High Street.A big pub that has a generous size eating section, and a good size beer garden at the rear of the pub. There are limited car spaces outside the front of the pub, and has a wheel chair accessible entrance.Best pub to go in Bletchley, and they do good meal deals including a drink, it's not gourmet food but will not put a strain on your wallet or purse. If you like Bletchley park you will like this themed wetherspoons pub.Cheers!

This place is a Tardis. Looks very small outside. And is Massive inside. Good value for money. Great service. Great atmosphere. Food is exactly what you'd expect from a great value pub. Parking is a bit limited, but it's not difficult to find parking nearby. Local chip shop and take aways near by. There is a regular bus service into Bletchley.
