Lakeside Car Park

Pulled in here on Bank Holiday Monday, it was packed with no spaces available. Due to the layout of the carpark there is no where to turn around once you have entered. Waited at the far end for a space to become available for about 10 minutes then left. Been stung with a £60 fee from Minster Baywatch and their stealth ANPR.Have appealed on the grounds that I could not enter into a contract with them as there were no spaces and I was unable to leave my vehicle and they have not followed code of practice by advising through adequate singes that ANPR is in use, but they just send you a generic appeal declined letter. Absolute scammers. Will never visit this spot again. Disappointed

Have stopped here on occasion to have a quick bite to eat between drop-off and pick-up duties; last time was for less than 38 minutes - at 8:40pm; the rest of the car-park was empty and light failing - I didn't see the parking enforcement notices or know anything about 'Minster Baywatch'; as far as I was concerned it was a calm and picturesque place to while away some time - not even getting out of the car!! A few weeks later?? Fined one hundred pounds; generously reduced to 'JUST' sixty if paid promptly?!?!An exorbitant punishment in my opinion.What damages or losses have you incurred from my stopping in an empty car park for less than 40 minutes??

One of my family picked up a £100 parking fine here whilst helping search for a missing person. Appeal declined by the car park operator...I then asked Cotswold Water Park Trust to help but they wouldn't. Disgusted

Even at Night time, There is a Site to behold especially with Autumn, Clear Skies, And reflections across the Lakes, Birds Calling each other. Reminds me of a Film called On Golden Pond. Its creating capturing moments in lives for all. In love. Romance Blossoming. Each to their own. But simply incredible feeling with your senses running riot.

paid for parking, received a parking fine regardless, cotswold waterpark and Minster Baywatch ignored my appeals and sent threatening letters demanding £80 then £100 then £155. wasn't until I threatened legal action and reported company to BPA was my case dropped. DO NOT PAY THESE SCAMMERS will never visit again.

Lovely view and cheap parking, only 4 stars due to the horse flies! Beware to need cream as the bits are very itchy but a love car park and lake with beautiful views

Take care! We parked here for less than an hour so that our 91-year old disabled mother could enjoy the lakeside view. The car park was almost empty. We displayed her Disabled Blue Badge. Ten days later a parking offence fine arrived. Our appeal, as we had been displaying a valid Blue Badge, was abruptly dismissed and the fine confirmed. A totally money-grabbing and unreasonable attitude - our recommendation: AVOID AT ALL TIMES

When we drove into the car park, we were surprised to see that you now have to pay. My husband went to buy a ticket but the machine was out of order. I took a photo of the message that came up on the machine and we thought it would be ok to park for free. Wrong! A few days later, a fine for £100 dropped through our letter box. My husband appealed but it was turned down. Apparently we should have paid by phone or left the car park - neither of which options had crossed our minds.This experience has put me off ever returning to Cotswold Water Park.

Watch out on this car park. You're charged from the second that you drive in and that's not made clear. We were a few minutes over our parking ticket and recieved a £100 fine and I mean it was only a few minutes. The car park people are bordering on criminal!!! We won't be parking there ever again.
