Love going to Salts Mill when up in Saltaire. The David Hockney exhibition is fantastic and wonderful to have art to see for free. This year (July 2023) his Year in Normandie was in display in the roof gallery. I love his art work and his eye is great. But what I find remarkable is how he uses an iPad.

A tremendous gallery situated in Salts Mill in SALTAIRE. A wonderful selection of works by David Hockney and other artists. We had a very nice lunch in the mill and enjoyed learning about Titus Salt, builder of the mill and the surrounding town of SALTAIRE.

The place to go if you like to see David Hockney art in it's native habitat. Currently running 3 exhibition halls with the latest being a year in Normandy. The mix of smaller independent retailers and cafes makes it a fun afternoon too, not just a gallery visit.

Salts Mill is a wonderful place to visit. Ad well as the gallery there are lots of beautiful things to buy. Well worth a visit

Great exhibition space in a Mill building.Art supplies also on sale.Loved the Hockney paintings, as well as other exhibits, including porcelain.

Have been wanting to come Saltaire for years and last Friday l did. My friend and l had the best day, we had a a lovely lunch, the young staff were very attentive and just lovely. Couldn't tell you what we liked the best - everything. Was most interested to see the pictures from when it was a working mill, as my late Mum was contracted from Southern Italy to work in 1953 and there is a picture of a very Italian looking young lady, which reminded me of Mum. When l paid for my goods at the end, the gentleman serving me said that he would have to re- stock the shelves. So there you are a lovely day and we will be back.

Fantastic exhibition of latest Hockney work set in Normandie. Sadly time limited . Exhibition also of photos of by gone days of Bradford & notes by the photograph explaining the social history behind many of them. With shops & cafe/restaurant well worth a visit
