I was a bit apprehensive doing this. Sending valuable items through the post is a bit scary! I was pleasantly surprised. I was kept informed at each stage. How to pack and post my items, that they had arrived and that my cheque had been posted. I received a good price and my offer was increased as my laptop was a higher spec than I had described.I am very pleased with the service I received.

Been looking to sell my macbook air for a while. Sent them an email, over christmas, got a quote a couple of days later. Best quote I had had - (ebay you may get a little more but there is no certainty of that). Took it in (as was slightly nervous about it all) - they seem very competent (I had fully checked it before hand). Couple of days later I got the agreement replied and money in my a/c by BACS. So very smooth - would sell again if not willing to do ebay. They gave me the best quote (out of the 4 or so websites I had contacted.)

The quote for my iMac was very fair as price included free collection and my data securely wiped from my computer, giving me peace of mind. The service was very good and would recommend Bits & PCs if you needed to sell your PC or Mac.

The guys weren't replying to my emails and often I had to chase for the answer. The original price they quoted was too low, when I told them that I was offered more they agreed to match. So I thought maybe when they test my macs we can renegotiate the price. I agreed to drop off macs myself also one macbook even has two months warranty. So I was hoping they could have added a little extra. They based in Bayswater - a little too far from where I live/work, so when they refused to add extra £35 towards my macs on top of the matched the price quote I did not have much choice but to accept it, as I did not have time to travel to pick macs. I honestly consider twice before dealing with them! You can sell macs on gumtree or even eBay for much better price! They took 3 days (including weekend) to test my macs. Anyway I am not happy and don't think I will ever go back to them and if you are reading this review don't do it go elsewhere!

Very pleased with the service. Rather than go through the hassle of selling on Ebay (and pay their fees!), the computer was collected at my home. The price they offered me was a good price and the person I dealt with was courteous and pleasant. Definitely recommend.

Selling my PC couldn’t have been easier. Quick response to all my queries, they arranged collection, all I had to do was package everything up and they did all the heavy lifting.Cannot fault them at all and if I ever need to sell my PC again, I know who I’ll be using!

I took my laptop in with a software problem and needed to reboot the system. I was told to collect 2 hours later and that I would receive a text, I went in only to be told that there was an additional fault with the fan and that they were unable to repair this without doing this also. They asked for additional money over the original price they quoted me for doing this, I then declined and said I disbelieved them regarding the fan as it was working fine earlier that same day prior to the system crash. The young foreign technician then became very angry and started shouting at me claiming I was accusing him of maliciousness, he even went as far as to slam the screen of my laptop down after I said I was going somewhere else to get his claim verified. He then got another of his colleagues to join in with him and even refusing to hand my laptop back and prevent me from leaving without paying them (for no work having been actually carried out).I eventually left with my laptop and went to PC World for a diagnosis and verification of their claims. I was told that the fan had been switched off from the bios and that it was working fine.

I noticed that my laptop was behaving really strangely – strange icons on the desktop, my email not letting me log in, etc. I was really worried so took it in to bits and pcs, who quickly informed me that I had a virus. They took it in for a couple of days and when they gave it back, it was virus free! The technician I spoke to advised me of good anti-virus software – some that were even free. Hopefully, thanks to these guys, I’ll never have another virus.

I've been after a MacBook Air for sometime and after seeing their eBay page, I decided to pop by and see the item first hand before committing myself to purchase anything.The staff were wonderful and very helpful, and were brutally honest when it came to talking me through the benefits and drawbacks of buying each laptop. They also allowed me to use the laptop hands-on before making a decision.The crucial selling point for me has to be the three months guarantee yet offer on all their products, so any purchase from there will give you the perfect peace f mind you're eager for.

Good and reliable service.I sold an old mac book pro with a broken screen.After agreeing the price, I've got the money transferred the same day. The whole process took less than a week, since I sent the laptop to the shop until the payment was made.Highly recommended.
