Turn'em Clean

Extremely poor service and very unprofessional. Don’t go to them unless you want your clothes ruined…I gave them a jacket to dry clean and they ruined it, its inner filling became lumpy and the jacket looked misshaped. I ended up going back 6 times, every time I asked for a reimbursement and they kept saying they will send it back to fix it-obviously they didn’t want to pay for ruining it.They ended up blaming the quality of my jacket for the result and I received a jacket which was still misshaped.Very bad experience.

Been coming here for what seems like forever and surprised by the poor reviews here. Always found them helpful, friendly and professional. Alterations always spot on. Shirts duvet covers etc rarely a problem. Great value too. Even cleaned my entire conservatory roman blinds.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience. I brought them 2 suits. One needed to be cleaned and one cleaned and altered.I specifically said that I needed one back on Saturday. (I wanted to get get the altered pair to be the same as the other pair.)I called them on Thursday to say not to do the altering until I came in as I had a spare hour become available.On Friday I called to confirm that it was going to be ready on Saturday and that the trousers haven't been altered to which I get a reply of that's fine".Came in on Saturday and the trousers were still in the shop and the jackets had been sent away and will be back in the evening.Inefficient and therefore I won't use them again."

I've been using them weekly for 2 years and have found them perfectly reliable. In that time they've always got my stuff ready when they said they would, nice and clean and with no damage. Some of their services can get quite expensive, e.g. blankets, duvets, but they're fine for normal dry-cleaning. The best part is their 99p shirt service that has probably saved me days in time on ironing, I am genuinely grateful for this.The staff aren't super friendly but they don't speak perfect English so I don't think they have a lot of confidence to start conversations.

They just randomly decided to change their closing time to 6pm even though THEY TOLD ME to come in the afternoon to pick up my graduation dress. I’m traveling tomorrow so now I have no dress. Thanks a lot.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Gave them a £1000 rug with NO stains to clean (as our baby had just started crawling) and it came back covered in huge yellow stains!They have refused to compensate us or even refund the £55 we paid to get it cleaned. They started by saying they would contact their insurance company and then changed their mind to now deny it was them who caused the stains, even though we took before and after pictures.They ignore phone calls, texts and emails hoping we will give up, leaving us no choice but to take them to court.It also took them 6 weeks to return it after quoting 2 weeks. Awful company, awful service.

My wife gave in a white dress to dry clean. It was one of her favourite dresses and quite an expensive designer dress. Unfortunately it came back cream with stains. When we asked them to rectify they said they will 'try put it through again'. Had no luck. We asked what could be done and the manager was completely flippant and said nothing. He offered no form of compensation. A total disgrace. I wish there was an option of 0 stars!!

3rd visit, drop sat pick up Sunday.Today dropped off Friday to pick up Sunday and suddenly this is now classed as Express and comes with a significant price increase. When queried, I was told that I had not taken my clothes there before and that she had never served me before. When I queried this. She then said she could see that i had been there before, but she sad not served me. She then said there was notjing she coyld do. So i left.15/06/19 called cleaners and told that there had been no change to the pricing structure, however my previous visits were incorrectly charged as normal dry cleaning and should have been charged the higher rate as Express.I like and prefer to support local business as I have lived in Palmers Green for nearly 35 years, but not when I feel I am being taken advantage of. Shame

Awful service and very unprofessional. I took my trousers for alterations and they did such a bad job that I had to take to another dry cleaners to correct. Their dry cleaning is also poor and their credit card machine is never working so it’s always cash they want. I will never ever ever use Turn’em Clean again, especially as the local area has so many other decent dry cleaners who actually do a good job.
