Endcliffe Park
Loads of space, a nice cafe, parkour/ workout area. A river runs through the parks with wooded shade and natural log tables for pickniks

What a wonderful space for the people of Sheffield! I was making a return visit to the Botanic Gardens when I realised that it wasn't that much further to walk to get to Endcliffe Park with it's amazing walks, wooded areas, childrens play area and the water features. There is a lovely atmosphere in the park; it feels a very safe environment and was certainly very busy when I visited on Friday.I was interested to go to see the Mi Amigos memorial and pleased to see that it didn't involve too much of a climb and was well signposted.I understand that there is a carpark available but I took advantage of lovely weather to walk from the station all the way up Ecclesall Road to the Park entering via the main entrance and leaving by one of the side entrances.

We went on a Sunday which though late in the year was still busy. Park is well kept but the playground is more geared up for older children, 7+ age and my grandchildren are aged 2&4. Older kids looked like they were having great fun!! The cafe must be good because queues were out the door so didn't get to try as the little one by one his time was too tired to wait. Will go again for a walk and explore!!

Large multi use park.Basically split into three parts, a large open grassy area, a café and playground area and a woodland are the opposite side of the Porter Brook, called the Porter Brook because of its brown water caused by flowing through iron rich soil near it's source, it also shows signs of industrialization, quite interesting. The café is really good with a wide range of hot and cold drinks and food including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options plus ice cream. The playground areas are either a free to use standard playground, a payable slide, bouncy castle etc, and a parkour area. The woodland area has paved walking trails with a large lake/pond and the Porter Brook flowing through it with multiple falls and some stepping stones. There also appears to be some unpaved/soil mountain biking trails, don't think they're official, but people were using them and they looked pretty good. The USAAF B17 Flying Fortress 'Mi Amigo' crash of 1944 is commemorated with a nice memorial in the woodland area just behind the café.Well worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful park to walk through, get all the way up into the wilderness with a couple of decent coffee stops along the way!

Serene atmosphere for those who love nature, those who jog everyday and those who would like to walk their dogs. They've also got a nice nice cozy pub with supposedly clean toilets(I didn't check so I can't give assurances). It's also a place you can organise an outdoor event. In all, it's a lovely place to visit.Trees, ancient stones, waterfalls and a mini amusement Park for the kids... you will enjoy going there

Our regular park. It's beautiful in every season and is well maintained. You have to take a walk through its entire length to appreciate the beauty. Runs some events time to time. Had a good little cafe as well. This also has a historical WW-II flight crash site, which is exactly where the cafe stands today.
