I had a really bad experience with AE, who seemed not to care about my house from start to finish. They came to install attic insulation and while doing so damaged my bedroom ceiling. There were several large and serious cracks in the ceiling which kept growing for a couple of weeks until it was plastered. Having got in contact with AE and them sending someone to assess the damage, they arranged to have a plasterer come round and plaster the whole ceiling in my room – that process taking a good few weeks in itself.About a week later, two men turned up (who said they worked for AE directly) to plaster the ceiling but quickly decided the crack was “too serious” and there was nothing they could do on the day. One of them also explained that it was his last day working for the company and certainly gave me the impression he didn’t care in the slightest about whether or not we had the work done. After another week or so had passed, someone turned up (from another company) on behalf of AE and plastered the ceiling to a very high standard.I know plastering is a messy job and I was told to expect some paint on my walls but it was quite annoying that I had my whole room painted the day before the insulation was installed. After waiting another week or so, a painter turned up to paint the ceiling and get rid of the marks on the walls that had been caused by the plastering. I wasn’t there when the painting was done but when I returned home, I quickly realised that the walls didn’t look much different at all and the more time passes, the more I’m spotting marks on my walls that clearly haven’t been touched since the plastering.A good month and a half after having the insulation installed, I have only just moved my furniture back into my room and am still not happy with the marks they have left on my room! When speaking to several people at AE over the phone, their customer service was always bad and they kept talking to me as if I had done something wrong and was being unreasonable. All I wanted was my room put back to how it was before they arrived and trashed it!I absolutely do not recommend this company to anyone who wants a proper job done!

Left without heating of hot water for almost 2 week in below freezing temperatures, unable to adiquitly organise work force in short do not use

Had the loft insulated today by Lloyd from A&E Insulation.Excellent quality work and done in a timely manner, very personable chap; cant say i'd be as jovial if I had to work with in the same dusty cramped conditions.I know how messy loft insulation can be but Lloyd managed to keep the mess and dust to a minimum and put protective coverings over everything, the hallway was cleaner after he left than before.Top notch serviceKeep up the good workGive Lloyd a pay riseMike

Shockingly poor service from start to finish. AE Insulation took 6 months to complete external wall insulation on my property having promised it would take 7 - 10 working days. My green deal voucher had long since expired meaning I had to falsely declare the work complete and risk losing the funding. The quality of workmanship was appalling and I had to fight with the company to have areas re-done, while being pressured to sign the work off and make payment. Installers caused damage to my property and left terrible mess in mine and neighbours gardens for weeks while no-one was working on site.. and on one occasion even went home and left my house keys hanging on the outside of the door with the house empty! I'm still dissatisfied with the end result but I signed the work off just so that I could end this disruptive and stressful chapter of my life. I thoroughly regret choosing AE Insulation for this project and wouldn't even consider recommending them to others.

Had a bad experience with this company. They installed cavity wall insulation in my property and I have suffered with damp problems since. The company do not seem to care - their customer service is appalling!

The external wall insulation has been transforming. The contractors have worked tirelessly durning challenging weather. They always kept me informed of everything. There were signs up everywhere to help keep my son & myself safe. They cleaned up at the end of every day and did not leave anything lying about so I had little disturbance.We have already noticed the difference inside the house. During the re hot spell my home remains lovely and cool and hope that indicates it will remain warm in the winter.The contractor who carried out my work, Jo, has shown himself to be very hard working and completely trustworthy. My neighbours have all commented on how hard he worked and the quality of the finish.I would highly recommend AE Energy Solutions.

An excellent service by this Company on the Greendeal Project on all of the flats. The work was professionally carried out on all levels of competency from office staff to the specialists skills workforce and management.The project was completed within the specified time of the contract and the site was left clear on a daily basis with tenants consideration being paramount. On this large scale project only 1 minor defect has been detected and was promptly seen to the following day.I am extremely satisfied with this outcome and can highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a professional trouble free service.

Wasted my time. Explained my problem that I had a cavity wall less than 45mm, They said they had a product to do it and would send someone out. They then failed to turn up at first appointment. Then the agent at the second appointment said he was too far away (London) and they couldn't do it anyway. I have posted a negative reply to help anyone else who might want to deal with this company on a similar matter. So don't know why the company have said in reply Ps why oh why would people leave a negative reply" . Have some respect for your customers please."

This company has just completed a 21 apartment complex and their manner, consideration and professional approach has been much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for them and with a smile. Hopefully this winter the red dust" experience will provide me with a noticeable different if we have a cold snap.Thank you and well done!"
