Excellent service from Tamar Caravan Centre. We needed a caravan urgently, saw Ian at Tamar on Friday, he showed us a good selection, wee went back again and decided on one on Saturday. The caravan was serviced on Monday and valeted on Tuesday and delivered to site on Wednesday. Ian set it up for us and explained how everything worked. Absolutely first class service.

Had our handover today of our Swift Challenger caravan. Our sales person was Dorian. What a brilliant handover going into absolutely every detail about the caravan.The caravan was much better than I remember when we decided to buy.Dorian was a really decent sales guy, never pushy just straight up straight and honest. He was also there to be our personal shopping assistant helping to carry and load our car.Would highly recommend Tamar Caravans and Dorian to help you with your purchase.We have never owned a touring caravan are super happy with our new tourer, thank you.

This is our first purchase of a caravan and I could not have visited a better caravan centre. Everyone I have met have been so helpful and friendly. The support and guidance we have been given to purchase our new van and suitable equipment has been amazing. They are there at the end of the phone and will help you with silly questions, as we are newbies.

Just can’t fault this place. Such wonderful, friendly people from the sales team, to the service, they are brilliant and really take care of you. Dorian sold us our first caravan, a Coachman, and went through everything step by step with us. They even delivered it for us as we had a issue with our electrics and can’t tow. You really can’t go wrong with this place. We are looking forward to many, many adventures in ‘Cora’.

We recently bought our new Swift Basecamp caravan from Tamar caravan centre. Our salesman, Dorian, from start to finish arranging the sale, with part exchanging with our older caravan, to the hand over day when we collected our new caravan, was extremely, polite, professional, not at all pushy but mainly very warm and friendly.The day of hand over, we were greeted by all the staff, working that day. Such a warm jolly welcome by all. It was a pleasure to eventually meet Dorian, first things first he made us a cup of tea and we sat in his office and carefully went over all the paperwork in such details. There was no rush or breezing over. Everything was done at a pace for us to understand. Even tho Dorian had had a personal call that day to attend a meeting at the hospital regarding his poorly dad. When it was time for Dorian to go, he handed over to Matt & the team to show us our new caravan.Matt showed us to our caravan, where she greeted us with a lovely welcome note. Such a nice touch.Again Matt was very friendly, helpful, showed enthusiasm, attention to details on how to use our caravan. We had a list of things to buy and we felt we had our own personal shopper. He he! There was another helpful, friendly, keen member of staff, (forgive me & correct me if I have the name wrong, I think Chris, maybe Phil or was it Ian?) Who solved the mystery, where the table was cleverly stored away.The Ethos of how Tamar’s run their business and the way they treat their customers with so much warmth & respect, going above and beyond was refreshing and reassuring. Their professionalism has left us with much confidence - we enjoyed the whole experience.Thank you to all that made a day that could of been stressful a joyous day!We’ve booked in for a years time our first caravan service . We just purchased our very first touring caravan, a dealer special Mayflower 400. Had a fantastic experience with Dorian who has helped with every aspect of the process from choosing the right van for us, to insurance, advice on kit, servicing and most importantly working through every spec of the caravan so that we have confidence to get out and use it. Dorian was super patient and great company. The team have been extremely professional and quick to deal some difficulties we experienced with the electronics on our tow bar whilst we waited, and so there was no hesitation in booking our next service with them. I have just purchased our first used caravan that looked absolutely amazing when we went to collect it. Ian and Dorian are fantastic at what they do, they look after you from start to finish with attention and detail. The caravan has gone through an amazing makeover and is now ready to put on a season pitch. All used caravans come with 12 month’s warranty from collection that provides piece of mind. We took possession of our caravan last Friday from Tamar Caravan Centre. We are complete newbies and are really pleased with the caravan and all the service from the team at Tamar. Ian and all the staff in the centre have given us lots of very helpful, practical advice at all stages of our decision to buy our first used caravan.A big thank you to Ian who spent as much time as we needed patiently explaining everything and giving us invaluable hints and tips from his experience so that we could set off ready (and not just at the comprehensive handover, but also at our various visits to the Centre before we made up our minds!).The service team did a great job getting the caravan ready for us and fitting the various extras (towbar, camera, and TV bracket), and dealing promptly with any questions when we phoned for advice.The shop staff are always very helpful with advising on equipment and we benefitted from very competitive deals.
