Good stock levels and helpful staff

The precinct has seen better days, with many shops boarded up, so you may not expect to find a Card Factory in it, let alone such a nice one.It's bright, clean, easily accessible and well organised and every single member of staff is genuinely friendly.I was asked if I needed help by the lady at the till as I entered, and the two other staff members that were on the floor, but they weren't over bearing at all. One was helping an old fella find a special card for his wife. I appreciate the offers of help as I'm a wheelchair user.They wrapped my cards so they wouldn't get wet in the rain and came round and put the Teddy bears and cards in my bag on the back of my wheelchair. They were really friendly and had a chat with the other customers too.There is a good selection of cards, teddies and gifts and they also sell stamps.The store is never over crowded and is easily accessible, not as busy as the one in Sutton Coldfield, so preferable to me. Also the staff make it a pleasure to go in there. They are always so welcoming and helpful, which is rare these days.Would definitely recommend, especially if you need help or more room for access.

Staff are very friendly, available to help anytime, hv lots of party choices, do helium balloons there n then or if you keep your receipt but dnt want your balloon blown up that day, take the recipt with you they will do the helium balloon for free as long as you hv ur receipt..thankyou to all the staff.

Friendly staff who were very helpful. Shame the shopping centre itself is basically abandoned.

Obviously the shopping centre itself is old, uncared for and largely empty now but both this card shop and Farmfoods are still well worth visiting (until it all gets replaced by a Lidl).Cardfactory are no where near as good value as they used to be but there's not much this shop is able to do about that!The staff are superb, caring, helpful and very friendly especially the young chap who works there.Thank you for the excellent service!

I love this card shop, if there isn't a card you need ur not looking properly, they hv cards for everything, friendly staff very helpful, the shop is always clean and tidy..hope its here yo stay.

Even though I like the selection and the prices are good value for money, I have an issue with the accuracy with the prices at tills when purchasing several items or when a specific item does not have a price label on the actual item.When I purchased a gift tag which the sign says 15p, there was no price label on the actual tag which resulted a charge of 99p when I took to the till. I brought several items alongside, so didn't work out the Maths until I got home and checked the reciept.Also, during Christmas 2 years ago, I purchased 10 items for 99p each, I was charged £10.89 for 10 items because the staff member mis-calculated. Unfortunately, I only realised when left the shop and didn't want to fuss over 99p especially during the busy times with a long queue.Due to being overcharged twice instore, I will not be returning to purchased gifts. Even though I may seem like fussing over small amounts, if this is a common problem instore, the numerous small amounts will add up to large amounts which I can not afford to lose.I will advise everyone to check their items and prices before you take to the till to ensure your being charged correctly.
