I recently rented a Tesla car from Hertz for my Uber driving business, and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Despite adhering to the terms of my rental agreement and returning the car on time clean and 98% charged, I was charged extra fees that I believe were unjustified.Moreover, the Tesla car provided by Hertz was not suited for the demands of ride-sharing, especially with its limited range and the scarcity of charging stations. This made it challenging to complete my shifts efficiently, and it resulted in significant delays and lost income. It was also a huge source of range anxiety, which added unnecessary stress to my work.While I had high hopes for Hertz, the extra charges and the inadequacy of the Tesla car were unacceptable. The lack of transparency in the billing process made me feel like I was being taken advantage of, and it further compounded my frustrations.Overall, I would not recommend renting a Tesla car from Hertz if you are an Uber driver or anyone looking for a reliable and practical vehicle for ride-sharing. The combination of the extra fees and the subpar quality of the car make for a very disappointing experience. I give them 2 stars for the rental experience.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!The manager were extremely rude and painful to deal with throughout the pickup process. The air conditioning blew hot air on the coldest setting and we found dirty coffee cups and rubbish under the seats. Only keeping this short and brief since I gave a detailed review to Hertz via the email feedback form.

We made the mistake of ignoring all the 1 star reviews thinking it's just a few isolated incidents. Don't do this! I've been a Hertz Gold Member for a long time but dealing with this branch is enough to get me to cancel my membership and never rent with Hertz again. Out of all the places I've rented a car, this one is by far the worst and it's worth going significantly out of your way and paying a much higher rate just to avoid this place.First of all, they scammed us by giving us a cheaper car from a different group than what we paid for. Then they scammed us again by charging a ridiculous £450 damage fee for a tiny scratch that we didn't even do but just didn't notice when we picked the car up. Also good luck getting in touch with them if anything goes wrong, their phone number is a toll number that most phones can't even call. Customer service is non existent.If you make the mistake of renting from here make sure to take pictures of every part of the car because if you don't they will try to scam you with fake damage reports. Better yet, listen to all the other negative reviews and stay as far away from this place as possible.

My experience was perfect; exactly what you want from a car rental company and I have used a few! I booked for a Sunday which is not the best day to rent a car as many are not open. However, I got there and after a couple of minutes of the usual checks, I got a great surprise with a very nice upgrade for free. The car was brand new, and had just been cleaned so it was spotless. They gave me directions to avoid the congestion charge and i was on my way in 5 minutes! The car worked perfectly for the week and when returned, it was also very simple. I just handed back the keys and done! I got the bill online, as agreed. It was just a great experience.

Had no issues renting from this office. Managed to hire a great car at a great price all with 1 days notice. Special mention to Anton who was fantastic. He provided great advice and even helped setup our phone for google maps to avoid londons congestion charge.

Do not ever rent a car here. We ended up paying 8x what we originally booked. We were guaranteed that the one way charge for returning to a different location would be roughly 50 pounds. The charge ended up being nearly 900 pounds. Hertz ignored all of our calls for over a week. We finally got ahold of the corporate office and were told that they couldn’t help.

Would not rent again under any circumstances. There's a not so fine line between horrendous customer service and fraudulent business practices and this branch is close to crossing it.I rented a car around 1 on a Wednesday. Despite being the only customer and declining all extras, it took nearly an hour for the two very unconcerned reps there to run my info and get my car.I returned the car several days later, pulling in 5 minutes after the allotted time but well within the 29 minute grace window in the contract. No one there to help. I wait, but then I have to go looking for someone to help (who is shocked there is no one in the garage). He checks that I have brought the car back with enough electricity to avoid any charges, shows me my final receipt with 60 pounds extra charges. Fine. I leave.An hour later I get a different receipt with an ADDITIONAL120 pounds in extra charges, reflecting a full day charge for the extra rental with a time entered for return a full 10 minutes after I left the garage. I am also charged for the electricity fill-up when I prepaid, which should be impossible.Despite being a President's Circle member, a month later, Hertz customer service has only responded to one email and has not written back in 8 days. Based off other reviews, I'm not the only person this kind of thing has happened to at this branch. Hidden fees is one thing, changing your receipt after you leave with wrong information is pretty spectacular.

I rented a vehicle from Hertz Marble Arch and returned it to the Inverness airport in good condition . I returned it before the depot was open (early flight) and took photographs of the vehicle's condition.The Hertz people then took 2 days and 6 hours (!) to inspect it. In the 2 plus days it sat around unchecked somebody at the depot scratched the car and I have been charged $850 to fix the damage! I was told that the vehicle is my responsibility until they get around to closing it out. No one explained why the close out took so long. They accessed my bank account and took the money before I could register my concern.Not on, Hertz. I have been charged a massively, over-priced amount for your staff's poor performance.I have spent many hours in writing emails to support my case and they are just ignored. Frankly I am disgusted with the terrible service from Hertz. I will never rent from them again. Be careful of their tricky behaviour.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this rental car company. Despite booking and paying upfront two weeks in advance, my scheduled pickup was at 10 am, but due to circumstances, I arrived 2.5 hours late. Instead of providing the specific vehicle I booked, they offered another one but at a price three times higher than my original booking. As an international traveler leaving in 3 days, this unexpected expense put me in a tense situation and ruined my entire trip. I cannot recommend anyone to book a car from them. Be cautious before considering their services!
