I was feeling in a slump - physically, emotionally and mentally after a challenging and stressful 3 years. I was aware that I needed to make some changes and but wasn't really sure where to start.I decided to try acupuncture and booked an initial assessment with Ian and I'm so very glad I did! His professional calm and caring approach instilled so much confidence that I decided to commit to a 3 month programme. Together, we identified what my objectives were for the following 3 months and these were later broken down by Ian into manageable bite size chunks which we explored week by week.The first part of each session was spent evaluating how I was feeling and looking at what progress I'd made towards each goal. This was then followed by a a treatment of acupuncture pending on my physical, mental and emotional needs. All of this was supported by detailed handouts explaining the key principles of chinese medicine, alongside which foods I should incorporate in my diet and which I should avoid.Week after week, slowly but surely with Ian's help and support I started to to make the changes. Small steps led to changes in habits and routines and 3 months later, I have achieved the majority of my goals and feel amazing! I know i wouldn't have gotten this far without Ian's support as well as the excellent acupuncture treatments he provides. I am not one for pain killers. I was recommended to Ian by a friend a couple of years ago. Problems with my neck, after some sessions, all was well. So when i pulled my lower back at work in October there was no hesitation for me to call again. now after some sessions i am back to normal working duties.Thank You Ian

I didn’t quite know how much I needed Ian’s help until my treatment started 3 years ago.Ian is someone I can trust and talk to freely, he listens and pays attention to what you say, talks about what you say and challenges on certain aspects of what is discussed when needed. Ian will ask a question, like whether something has been happening, whether I have been feeling a certain way/experiencing something in particular and he will be exactly right. His approach is very much focused on encouraging you to do the best by yourself physically and mentally.I started for one particular purpose but to be honest I have found that I have benefited so much more widely than expected, and particularly the effects of work related stresses which I never anticipated. In that respect it’s like my treatments reset and strengthen me each week. I very much thought, prior to starting treatment, that it was just the acupuncture (in the ‘needles and points’ sense) and never quite appreciated how holistic and diverse the treatment process is.
