Fantastic wine tour experience just an hour from London. We visited 2 lovely vineyards in the beautiful Sussex countryside. At Court Garden we had an excellent vineyard and winery tour, led by their brilliant wine-maker, followed by a tasting of their delicious fizz. The al fresco lunch, complete with wine, was great and there was time to buy from the cellar door before we headed to Albourne Estate. Here we had a winery tour and another lovely tasting, with time to stroll in the vineyard and enjoy the beautiful views from the sun terrace. The vintage red bus was a brilliant touch and the pick up and drop off points really convenient for the station. Highly recommend for a great day out!

Great service for start to end. We felt well looked after and informed at every stage. Was a combination of fun and education mixed with indoor and outdoors activities. Definitely recommend.

I have been on a few of the wine tours from Great British Wine Tours now, and each one was a very enjoyable day out. It is a really nice way to get out of Brighton and into the countryside, and taste some great wine (or beer). I highly recommend this.

I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. The vineyards are nice and you're left to explore and relax at your own pace at both places. There is just enough info given about the vineyards and wines they make. It was a lovely day out.

Where to start… the meeting point: easy to find. The staff is friendly and they help create a wonderful ambience. The bus is vintage and allows to take wonderful pics. The tasting at the wineries are generous and the lunch is more like a brunch/ English tea kind of meal but it is beautifully served.Go with positivity and SALUD!

We had a private tour for 8 people. Great guide, excellent visits to 3 wineries with guide and tasting and a very good lunch at Ridgeview.I could give an extra star for the good communication up front agreeing on the program.

Be warned:if you want your order to be private and sealed you need to request this. Otherwise the delivery driver will just announce to whoever answers your door that it is a wine delivery from great British wine tours. Not great if it's a gift. And in an open box too.

My dad and I went on the Bluebell Steam Railway & Vineyard Tour back in June and had such an awesome day. Danny and his dad were fantastic guides. The train journey was joyous and the vineyard we visited (Hindleap) was fantastic. Since moving to Brighton (some five years ago) I had always wanted to visit some local vineyards but it's one of those things that requires a bit of planning and a designated driver (neither of which I have the time for!) and thus I never got around to doing it. Great British Wine Tours took care of everything so all we needed to do was turn up and enjoy. We both had a great day - fine wine and fine trains are my dad's thing so he was in his element. We will be back next summer for sure and I would recommend to locals and tourists alike who want to enjoy a day in the beautiful South Downs sampling delicious wines (what's not to like). A Great British Wine Tour is great for couples, groups or even if you're flying solo and would also make for a cultured (pun alert) hen or stag party. In short we loved it. Danny - see you next summer!

Today I went on the seven sisters tour and what can I say... I HAD THE BEST DAY!it was perfect to explore some of the most beautiful places in Sussex. The pick up point was central and easy to findVisiting the seven sisters was a nice easy walk with stunning views, driving through the country side to get to the farm was amazing because we got to see carvings of the long man from the Stone Age.When we arrived at the farm it was great flexibility with what we could do - eg lunch, see the animals, taste over 200 ciders...From there we went to the ditchling beacon which is the highest point in SussexWas interesting to find out most of the history behind the beacon point. We then made the final stop to taste some of the best cheese I’ve had in my life! For £29 this is an absolute bargain for the amount of places you visit and Danny was so nice, a great guide, full of information and ensuring our comfort for the whole day.I can’t wait to come and try some more of the other wine tours!! I had a blast :)!!
