A stunning restaurant situated in the heart of the town. The decor is absolutely stunning. Our waiter was a beautifully charming man who made our lunch really enjoyable. The food was delicious & overall a really nice place.

We went there for Sunday roast, the food was really good, the service was very friendly and professional.Lovely atmosphere, the seating are nicely spaced apart.Overall great experience.l, highly recommend

Visited last night with my husband for dinner. We sat in the bar area for a cocktail first, which had a lovely atmosphere, buzzy and friendly. Service was swift behind the bar which lots of staff.Then headed downstairs for dinner when our table was ready.Highly recommend booking in advance as it was a full house.Really nice setting for dinner, service was great and food delicious.Everything came out in a timely manner despite it being so busy. See pictures attached. We had a lovely bottle of wine, 3 courses and a cheese board. My only gripe was that was portions are on the small side and my husband wasn't full. Starters were exceptionally small for the price.Highly recommend for dinner and or drinks.

Really glad we made it- definitely enjoyable evening. We didn’t book the table- just walked in (Thursday night), but it was busy. The bar area is so cosy and lovely. We were hosted by Sam ( hope I remember it correctly) - really friendly and welcoming girl. Other guys were really friendly and helpful. Service is good and we got enough attention. Food was delicious: really recommend cheese soufflé and beef. Duck confit was also nice. Saw other dishes and they looked delicious on the plates.

Really lovely pub, staff very friendly. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Dog friendly in the bar area. I had a bar snack which was yummy and the food menu looked incredible.

Delicious and well presented food combined with friendly service and nice atmosphere. We stopped here based on past reviews whilst headed back to the train from a day out walk and were rewarded. All of us enjoyed our meals and left smiling and sated. I would certainly return when in the area.

One of the most delicious meals out we've had in a while. Every course excellent but the beef short rib and the lamb roulade really were stand out!! Really flavourful and perfectly cooked meat.

Dined here for our annual Christmas family get together. It was overall a very nice experience.Food very nice and service was great.Only downside for us was fighting our way through the barking dogs in the bar area to get to our table. Thankful the restaurant is dog free. Parking is available behind the pub and in the multi storey car park.
