On my first visit to Godiva Speakers it was clear I had made the right decision. I was welcomed and I am continually encouraged to be the best version of myself.The Godiva Speakers experience is supporting me to challenge limiting beliefs and after each meeting I step into a world of more opportunities.Godiva Speakers also offer roles on the committee, the VPM role is supporting me to develop leadership and interpersonal skills. It has been rewarding to meet, mentor and empower a diversity of people.I am now thriving in my career and personal life. On my first meeting I was scared of public speaking or people in general. However, Godiva members would approach me an ask me questions and were very friendly from the beginning. That encouraged me stand up for the first time and speak. Since then I have been pushing myself to improve my social skills and public speaking skills in this club.When you see the improvement in your personality and confidence you can't wait for your next speech.I would definitely recommend this club for people looking for improvement in the area of public speaking, confidence, and leadership.
