DO NOT USE any of the carparks owned by Cumbria Parking Services. If you pay by cash they deny you have paid and issue you with a £100 fine

Car park managed by HX Car Park Management. Avoid at all costs if you don't have cash to pay for it. The text message system and website don't work properly. So if you don't have sufficient change and don't pay for it in 10 minutes, they will issue a parking ticket and tell you that they are not required to provide alternative payment methods.

Shocking, I bought a ticket online, my email confirmation came through at 13.35 but they stated my parking didn't start until 13.45 which was 13 mins after entering the car park. Trying to get £100 fine off me when I paid for the ticket. Avoid avoid avoid
