Reiki at Mitzi Gaunt Hair

Both Alison and Mitzi are extremely passionate and follow the reiki principles to a t, Mitzi attuned me and she was very friendly, approachable and informative. She immediately put me at ease talked me through the process and it was clear she knew her stuff.After I was attuned I was invited to a reiki evening with both Mitzi, Alison and one of Alison's students, it was a lovely evening where we all reikied each other, Alison reiked me and it was obvious she had a lot of experience, she was very confident, lovely and again informative. It was a fantastic evening with tea and treats and I would recommend them both to anyone interested in reiki and wanting to get attuned.

She's a very lovely woman but I'm not happy with what I got. I went in with a picture of an old haircut, a long bob that's shorter at the back, and I left with a Karen hair do. She asked if I wanted the back undercut, I said sure not really knowing what that was. That's not what she did, it's essentially a pixie cut at the back that I didn't realise till she showed me. She also made a mistake, when she was trying to make the sides by my face even. She cut too much off the front at one side, we both knew it, and she tried covering it up by offering a fridge. After that I just wanted to get out of the chair.Look if she's your favourite, power to you, but if you're looking for a new hairdresser to go to for a trim after lockdown I wouldn't choose her.

Best barbers on the city. I won't use anywhere else.
