Went here a month ago. Im a doctor and Me, my partner and baby had intense diarrheoa and suspectable food poisoning after dining here thankfully mild. We couldnt even get a dessert which is probably a good thing as the chef decided to ditch the restaurant and go out whilst people was dining. 'Very professional establishment', I wouldn't say its very family suitable as it attracts an particular crowd of people who look like they're heavy drinkers and drug users. Won't be returning after this experience. Food and hygiene was not adequate enough for a second visit.

A friendly welcome as we went in to have a bite to eat. The place was almost deserted so we chose a table, parked the dogs beneath it and ordered a BLT and a cheeseburger. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good. My wife said it was the best BLT she'd had in ages and it came with a large, tasty salad and tortilla chips. My burger was good, juicy and tasty and was served with home made chips which were delicious. Only slight negative was that the post mix Pepsi was flat but the food more than made up for it.

Terrible pub, the female manager has appalling service and clearly lacks the ability to act with kindness which makes the surrounding pubs in the area much more appealing to me and clearly the others in the area due to the emptiness, an abandoned feel. The male manager/owner is much more pelite than his female counterpart however due to the terrible customer service from the female I am not likely to return again.

Fantastic food. Great portions. Not too pricey. Great family pub. Very friendly owners, I felt like nothing was too much trouble. Will recommend family and friends to visit here. Small walk to the town and shops. Parking is free. Lots to do for the children. Skittles, soft room, etc. Park across the road.

Booked a table for early dinner with 3 children under 5, the small play area was great, plenty to keep them occupied. We sat outsude and one of the guys was very obliging in moving a parasol so we had 2 and plenty of shade. Food came quickly, adults had the homemade cheese burgers, delicious and the best chips I've had in a pub for ages. Children had sausage and chips and chicken nuggets and chips, all served with peas. Again decent food. Friendly staff and we would visit again

Came in for the first time for a cup of tea and chips. Great food, absolutely lovely gentleman served us, delightful service, I think he was the owner, knowledgeable about the history of the building when I asked, and remembered my name, all round lovely atmosphere will be back again!

The service here was amazing, the staff welcoming and the food was absolutely sublime. If you find yourself in the area please make sure you pop in. It's definitely a cut above the rest.UPDATE:This pub is under new management but still hasn't lost any of it's charm and appeal. It's very family orientated which is perfect this day and age but still comfortable to just pop in for a nice pint. Defiantly a place to visit. 5 out of 5 in my books.
