It was a refreshingly pleasant experience searching for a car. My wife is over the moon with the car we bought. After every drive, she comes in and says how much she loves the car !!! For me, it was the best price, best condition,best service couldn't be happier.

Bought a Fiat Punto for my daughter and within a few weeks she had a problem with the gearbox. It turned out to be a mechanical problem which lead to it needing a new one. Work was done within two days and no hassle at all to ourselves. Great service and good blokes to deal with. Thanks a lot.

After going around garage to garage, seeing every dodgy wreck there is, we stumbled across Empire Car Sales. He was very professional, polite and not pushy at all. He told us what we wanted to know and left us to it. In the end we bought a mondeo, was ready to drive away in 24 hours! Will recommend this garage without hesitation.

Bought a 2006 Subaru Outback from John for a fair price and was happy with the car. I had inspected the car and test driven it before purchase, all was well.On the way home, I got the check engine light on! It did not seem serious so I pulled over and called John right away. I was worried something fishy was going on, but John offered to pay for whatever the car needed, within reason. I took it to Subaru who advised me it was a misfire likely caused by the spark plugs. All fixed and all paid for by John. A happy ending and a great car from a genuine, professional, honest dealer.Just one of those highly unlucky situations, in which he stood by and helped me get it sorted. You can't say fairer than that! Happy Customer.

Bought my car from here over a year ago. After not having much luck with cars, I found something I liked and went to view. John was very helpful and I've never had any problems with my car, I'm now after something bigger and came straight back to John's business website to view what he has as I would totally buy again from him, which is why I'm now writing a review. Bought my first car from Empire car sales and was assured that it was a ‘great little car’ and I shouldn’t have any issues and that it had been fully checked over by a mechanic, which I now believe to be false.First issue: stop start doesn’t work at all, and still doesn’t even after a ‘very expensive stop start battery’ has been fitted by the owner of the company after the car failed to start.Second issue: I appreciate that a new battery was fitted, but my problem is when the owner said ‘yes this battery did need replacing it is old’ Surely if he new that this should’ve been fine before he sold it, or at least told me that it was an old battery. Furthermore, I’ve taken the car to a mechanic and the battery had not been secured correctly, so was moving around inside mt bonnet, was not even correctly fitted and when fitting it the air expresser had been removed and not reconnected so instead was just rolling round in my bonnet! He is clearly not qualified to fit anything.Third issue: the car broke down, I called the RAC and after checking it over they told me that the thermostat housing was faulty and should’ve been replaced long before now, again something that a ‘reliable mechanic who checked it over’ should've noticedI’m fully aware that all cars have issues, but after paying almost double what the car is worth (I’ve had it valued after all these issues) I’d expect it to not have multiple issues within a 1.5 month period.Since buying the car less then 2 months ago, I’ve had to pay for a new thermostat housing, timing belt , and new leads, spark plugs and a coil in my engine, doesn’t seem like a ‘great little car at all’ and with a 1 month warranty period, which is ridiculous, there’s not much I can do.Avoid empire car sales at all costs unless you want to be scammed!
