Very interesting. The Courthouse is a lovely old building. There was a lot of information to digest at the Victorian goal. Spent quite a while here and surprised to see the original treadmill still in situ.

Amazing place. Not only is it busting with history, atmosphere and stories but the building itself is stunning. Very deceptive as its alot bigger than the outside would suggest.The staff are very friendly and will share a ghost story or two if asked. There is a visitors book behind reception where guests add their experiences. Definitely worth a read after you've finished your tour. It's great value for the money.Very oppressive energy about the place. 2 executions occurred here. Spooky place.

We've visited here a few times and always find it interesting.Beautiful gaol (if there's such a thing) and interesting history and personal stories of the unfortunate inmates.Well worth a visit and the older kids will enjoy it too.There are plenty of [narrow] stairs to climb and narrow doorways to navigate.Good value for money (£7 each)

An absolutely amazing place to visit when in Beaumaris on Anglesey. A fantastic load of history to be seen. And to me that's how prisoners should be held today. It would stop most of today's crime if they knew that was beholding them.....I'm so sure. Lovely, friendly staff looking after the place that are full of knowledge. A total must to visit if you feel like I do about law and order of today compared to then.

A must visit! So interesting and atmospheric. Museum was well laid out and very informative. Roger the guide was fantastic and really brought it all to life with a lot of additional info!

Great place. You get to look around all of the gaol. A talk first then left to your own devices. Interesting to see all of the different crimes people were in there for. 15 years for stealing a cape! And dress up warm, it is freezing cold in there. It must have been terrible being locked up with nothing but hard labour or extra punishment to get you out of your cell. And sorry for the photo but I think I saw a ghost! (It was well dressed up for Halloween). P.s. discount for over 60’s

Really cool and historical place to visit, very imposing walls and hardly any light inside, was very historic and gave you a feel or what it would have been like to be in there.Very friendly and informative staff, quite a lot to see for a smaller attraction.Reasonably priced and a great place to see.Would recommend
