I have just bought a bike which had an invoice for £5750 from this garage. The invoice states the bike doesnt run without a push start and the mistakes worry me that people may be out there riding machines worked on here. As a certified aircraft engineer I have to say this is some of the worse workmanship I have ever seen. I bought it as a restoration project after the owner gave up in despair. I would be very clear on your expectations and required work from this workshop. Maybe the person who did this has left and who knows but an invoice for nearly 6k with the words needs a push to start is an embarrassment !

Serviced and MOT’d my 125 quickly and with great efficiency, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and reliable motorbike workshop. I will definitely be returning next year. 5/5.

I recently purchased a 1996 Suzuki Bandit 600 off eBay, and took it in to Classic and Modern Bikes for a MOT and service. I wanted the service as peace of mind because she's an old bike and an eBay buy, even though there was plenty of previous history and only 20k on the clock. After the MOT (passed with no advisories), the mechanic called me and said he wouldn't do a service because it didn't need one. It had only done 50 miles since the last MOT, and everything was still in good condition. He could have done the service anyway, banked the money, and I'd be none the wiser. He saved me £180. An ethical and honest mechanic. A rare breed indeed. Would highly recommend.
