Very pleasant riverside walk,overlooking the river and weare, spot the resident Herons waiting for fishy meal. Compact children's playground and picnic site.

Amazing little park for little ones well kept and always plenty of fun for them.. great walks next to the river and plenty of parking available.

Close to my home. Such a beautiful Riverside space, with a small play park for younger ones. Their is a pair of Herons who return each year, hence the huge and beautiful Heron statue.Lovely walk down the river to Didsbury and Simon Bridge.

The Heron Portal at Northenden Riverside Park
Really nice and small park, next to the river. The park is right next door to a free carpark, which is great, but really busy during weekend. The park a book share box, and loads for kids to do in such a small space. Everything was clean and very little rubbish. There is even a few wooden tables for picnic.
