Dundee City Square

The pop-up Farmers’ Market here on the third Saturday of month (except Jan) is definitely worth a visit… if for nothing else the amazing and varied sausage rolls. (Sold cold, but take them home and heat them up - delicious and generously meaty!) I think the stall name might be Rola Mòr [Big Rolls in Gaelic?] The cheesecake stall next door was going great guns too but I had to resist…

Dundee has went through quite a transformation over recent years and the investment shows in many areas of the city. Overall its worth a visit and easily accessible by road , bus and train . People are welcoming and generally friendly.

I have been driving for 40 years. The standard of driving in Dundee, Tayport, Carnoustie, and surrounding areas is terrible!?* No indication, Changing lanes, Speeding, Pushing in to spaces, Parking.Going through red lights. On their mobile, Reading, Putting makeup on. Doing their hair. No one keeps to speed limits. The signs that flash 30mph or slow down, Don't take any notice. Personally I think is getting more and more common. Drivers drive too close. Go the wrong way around mini roundabouts. More education is needed, heavyer fines. Every body is in such a rush. As most problems, many more people will loose their lives, before anything is done. A car is like a loaded gun. I have drive thousands of miles in UK and Europe. Scotland is one of the worst! Next time you get in a car, Think! You may not have a second chance to think! Why do drivers traveling over the Tay road bridge continue to speed, when clearly signed high winds, 30mph!?* I had a van driving up the back of me. Pushing me across the Tay road Bridge todayWhite VW car and Light blue BMW, racing down East Dock Street. Car driving too close to each other!?* When will the learn.Speed Kills. I drive every day, see some of the most shocking driving. Where are the police!?* Changing lanes at short notice, know one indicates, Speeding, driving too close to the vehicle in front. Women putting makeup on. Drivers reading, talking on their mobile phones. Pulling out Infront of you. Someone needs to do something about this,!?* I complained to Police about speeding traffic on our road which is 20mph. Near doctors, nursery school, elderly people. Police said no speeding seen. Abserlout rubbish. Drivers should be made to take a retest after so long driving. When are cyclists getting insurance and taxed, compulsory head gear.

Dundee very nice place and easy to get to

Over the years that I have been here in Dundee, the city square has change a lot! It is better than it use to be and on the way up.During the years they have had many things such as veteran day, bag pipes competitions, dance ones and other ones.During the Christmas time there is the winter light ones, which are amazing too!

Beautiful place to enjoy yourself in some coffee shops, restaurants, pubs or some brand shops. City Center or High Street for Dundee.
