Great and good price for kids soft play. Has reasonably quiet times. No frills like a decent cafe, food or anything but good for tired parents needing a break!

Very dirty place there was 3 laydys on shift but table next to me had plates and left overs for 3 h I was there then I left.Probably this mess was there for mutch longer .Ammout of cobwebs is crazy in this place .considering u are paying 10£ for one person and child and wasn't really busy list they could keep the place clean.i won't mention the state of toilets as it was disgusting. My 3 years old didn't wanna use this toilets! That should explain all.

We held my daughter’s fifth birthday party at Funplex. It was a breakfast party, and we had Funplex all to ourselves for the first hour.The children absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful.Breakfast food was basic but perfect for the occasion and the kids were too busy running around anyway!Thanks for all your help. Everyone had a great time!

It was quiet when we went, lack a bit of atmosphere but was OK. Clean and tidy. Coffee was hot! Needs some heating in general on cold days ot wear thick socks!

Really rude staff, most staff members had 1 air pod in their ears and acted like us asking them questions is the problem.Place is disgusting, looks like no one has cleaned it in a long time!

We tried this place out after being to a number of other soft play areas and were disappointed with the facilities. The layout is rather odd with tables placed near the reception / food area, also along the side leading up to the under 4 only area, and also another section up the ramp by the bigger slides. The play areas are essentially separated into 3 core areas with lots of hard floor areas in between them all. This means that the children come running between the spaces across the hard floor. Unfortunately we had our 15 month old smashed into by a child who was running and he cracked the back of his head really badly off the hard floor, which was very upsetting. We understand it’s hard to control children from running around when they are having fun, but the layout and extensive hard floor area means that there is a lot of chance for this to happen. Not only that, the ramp leading up to the upstairs play area is also hard carpeted floor which children run up and down. It would make sense for certain areas to be covered with a softer flooring especially the parts that are connecting the play areas that children come running down when they are playing tag etc. Probably more suited to older children, but we won’t be going back with our young one because it’s simply not safe in many areas and our negative experience is a direct result of the flooring issue. It wouldn’t take much to make this place a lot safer.

A very good place for children a special in winter!!!

I visited Funplex with my husband and two grandaughters today (Monday 29/05/23). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My granddaughters enjoyed themselves very much, food was reasonably ok. The issue I had is with the cleanliness of the area particularly when looking up into the ceiling where there was alot of dust & cobwebs. I believe there should be some serious ģiven to dusting/cleaning the area on a regular basis as this could affect some parents/children with certain sensitivity to allergies etc. I hope this issue can be looked into asap.Thank youThe Charles family.
