Southampton Airport Parkway railway station

There is free parking for, I think, 20 minutes. This is a big change to how it used to be, so now it's ok to use for dropping off or pickup for airport. Airport parking is now ridiculous.As for the train station, it's a nice small one.

Plenty of great destinations. Very close to the airport. There is a coffee shop on platform 1.

Bloody disgusting.Got to the railway station only to find out the train I take on a weekly basis to college got cancelled because of some staff member being late. Sort out your issues.

Pretty poor. Ticket machine crashed as we came off a three hour delayed flight and were racing to catch our train, and staff on the platforms seemed more concerned with their cigarette breaks - lady in the queue had to attract their attention despite their being feet away. Very unimpressed.

I was travelling yesterday 23/12/17. Cross country called a strike and I was travelling to Cleethorpes. There was no way I could travel on any other day as I was only flying in that morning. Unsure of what I should do I asked at the ticket desk and the young man asked for my ticket, put the information in the computer and gave me a print out of all the changes I had to make to get to my final destination. Instead of the one change I now had five. The ticket told me the time I was arriving in each station and the time I was due to leave which was very helpful as I then knew how long I had to get to the next platform. the changes were between 4 and 15 minutes. I arrived at my destination unfrazzled after a very straight forward trip. But I wouldn't have if it had not been for the boys in Southampton Parkway so I just want to say a very big thank you and a very happy Christmas to them. X

Great station and great location for the airport and just a short walk to the terminal

Both ticket machines were broken, had to buy a ticket at the till. The staff were rude and very slow in making the payment process go through. So much that by the time I went back across to the other platform I missed my train and had to wait an extra 30 minutes for the next one!

I used this station a few times. The staff are friendly mostly. It has good connections to the Airport and also to Eastleigh.I am slightly annoyed that the ticket machine does not work very well here.

Very poor service. Toilets blocked. No way of getting food since the shop wants to shut before 8pm. This is during a World Cup cricket match. Go figure. Very poor and management at the station need to take action or close up or sell up and let people manage this.
