Segway Events - Windsor, Bray Lake Watersports

Awful customer service. Tried to redeem a voucher I bought from them told it would cost £10 extra to book the day I wanted. Couple of days later £40 comes out of my bank account. I query it with them and they said that's the right price. Despite me being told otherwise when I first called them. Was told a manger would look into it and call me back. After a couple of days I recieved no phone call so phoned them up for them to again be useless and not help. Tried to cancel it and get my money back but was told I can't because it's gone past 7 days since creating the booking. Absolutely disgraceful service.

Save your money and choose any other company.Booked a bungee jump online with them for which I got a confirmation where they stated I was going to get the exact time on the following day.I called them multitple times which they did not answered and finally managed to get a hold of them via email. I was just told I needed to rebook. No refund option.

This is very much an experience for beginners. We had this given to us a gift. The session says 1hr, but don’t be fooled. First 5-10 minutes were explaining how to ride the Segway before each person individually rode in front of the other customers, applauding each one after their efforts, this felt childish. We were then asked to do laps round the little grass patch area, whilst the other 10-12 people in our group were being instructed to do the same. By this point we must’ve done about 20-25 laps of this boring grassland & the staff asked each pair to stop for photos with one of the crew members, not necessary at the beginning and a waste of time! I felt most of us would rather have just got on with riding!Finally about 30 minutes in, we headed off thinking we were going for a ride around the beautiful lake area, but in we went to a small dingy shaded woodland area, what a shame on such a beautiful day! We were left to do as many laps as we could around this pathetic course, this got very monotonous after 5 minutes, as we hoped we’d be moved on to something more challenging. This lasted about 20 minutes before we headed back to base, for us to look at photos and step off the Segways.Staff were friendly, experience is good to get you used to a Segway but don’t buy this if you’re hoping for a a real experience! Personally once we got used to the Segway pretty quickly, the whole experience was flat & incredibly boring. You should try and put your customers through their paces a bit more with the beautiful scenery that’s around you.

A really fun introduction to Segway! In a group of 14, we practiced first and then took on the rally course in the woods. Felt safe and well looked after. Thanks to the professional, patient and friendly trainers who helped me gain confidence - and once I got going, I had a great time! This activity is very much guided and in a certain area, probably best for beginners only. You don't get to explore yourselves.

The boys had a 1 hour session.The last half was around a decent woodland course. Patrick was great.

Goodness me it was hard work trying to make a booking. I was having trouble using a Groupon voucher, so decided to call the Segway Events directly, and the representative was unhelpful and borderline sarcastic. I explained how I was unfamiliar with their product and asked what it entailed, and was just told to read off the title on my voucher, with the representative repeating it back to me in a slow and patronising voice. They then said that they would send me all of the details in an email, but the email I was sent was entitled Segway Dtes" and was just a link to the Locations page on their website. I had to phone back and tell the representative that I needed help redeeming my voucher as their website would not accept my Groupon code and was finally able to do so

Guys were great, was a great experience just a shame we didn't get full time out that we paid for due to waiting for others

A bit of a mess, as we had paid for 4 tickets and only 2 were showing on the system, we did get accomodated by the team, so very grateful for that. The location was lovely but I thought we'd be riding round the lake to take in the views; we only rode round a little woodland bit and although it was fun, we went round a few times, I'd say about 30 min and then returned to base. In my view this is for first time riders, if you're looking for adventure and a longer ride, then this isn't for you.

Poor safety. Inconsistent directional signs in the obstacle course resulted in people driving at one another. Track was small for the number of people allowed on it. Wouldn't feel comfortable going again.

It was perfect for beginners and that was what I was. The tuition was great and encouraging. I managed to stay upright and have fun.
