The outside of the museum has been cleaned in recent years and looks magnificent. We arrived at opening time with free timed entrance tickets purchased online. This is essential to avoid long lines. It seemed like every tourist in London makes a pilgrimage to see the animated dinosaur, which is the key attraction. We also visited the gems gallery which was comprehensive but overwhelming.

This is a beautiful museum dedicated to nature and the history of nature. Immediately once you enter the museum, you will be amazed by the scale of the whale bone and the size of the. Lobby. There are so many displays and sections, each dedicated to a particular theme, you can expect to spend awhile at this place. And it's free. Overall, what an awesome and enjoyable experience.

Very fun day out for all the family. There are so many exhibits and so much to learn and see! It’s fun whether u are a kid or an adult. The staff are friendly and eager to help you if you need assistance. Many public bathrooms are available around the museum. The building itself is also very impressive and has amazing architecture. The dinosaur exhibit was the highlight of my trip but I loved everything else in the museum too! So many things here has so much historical significance and long history’s and stories behind them. The minerals are so pretty and have the most beautiful colours. There is a lot of interactive activities as well which are entertaining. Food is available in many places in the museum and there are so many places to sit if you are tired.

What a magnificent museum! We normally come on weekends with our little one. It is quite overwhelming for a young toddler to be in here. It is quite noisy and many traffic even though the museum is huge!If you enter from the main gate, you will find the iconic ‘Hope’ blue whale skeleton up in the ceiling. The hall is with such high ceilings and lights come through the windows. It is one of the best places to visit with kids in winter. It’s one of our favourite winter activities in London. The dinosaur room has a huge model with sounds. The kids love it.Do go upstairs if you want the best view of the museum, you will get a great photo!

This museum has been on my bucket list forever and finally I have made the trip here earlier this year in spring. Reserved the tickets online. There was a queue in the morning. It was still pretty quick to get in when the doors opened.Ah the displays were wonderful! Everything was a delight. Especially the more famous displays. Was floored by the hanging skeleton of the whale in the entrance hall.To anyone out there who loves museums. This is a must visit. You may not be able to cover it all in one day but it is sure fun to try.Be prepared for some crowds I guess. It wasn't too overwhelming on the day I visited.

An absolutely stunning museum with many new renewed exhibits. The dinosaur exhibit was such a huge success with the kids and they even had life-size dinosaur installations all over the museum. The gift shop is a nice place to pick out a variety of gifts for all ages and prices. The only challenge was navigating the museum during mid-terms and when it’s holidays all over Europe. The queue to enter was huge, it moved quickly though but once inside, it was an intense time with the crowded spaces and managing little ones.

Amazing museum, with a great range of exhibits. It's great that it's free entry, but I'm only giving 4 stars because the wait to enter was unacceptably long, 50 minutes queuing outside. The dinosaurs section is great, but has always been slightly disappointing ever since Dippy left (you can now see him in Coventry). The Earth section is also great and a ride up the long escalator into the earth" is a must. In spite of the crowds

We had a magnificent time at the natural history museum. We booked our time for right at opening and there was a huge line already 10 minutes before opening. It moved quickly though. The fact it is free to get in is wild to me. They do ask for donations. We also payed to see the Titanosaurus exhibit which was very interesting. I could’ve spent all day here but my group wasn’t as into it as me. Definitely worth going to and fun for all ages.

For a free experience, this was great! A lot of interactive pieces for all ages so it was helpful in learning things. We went on a Monday, so there were a lot of school groups also visiting. The earthquake room is underwhelming but not surprising since they cannot recreate a full blown earthquake. Unfortunately, some exhibits were closed and under construction so we couldn’t visit everything but we didn’t intend on staying for more than 2 hours so it worked out.
