Log Cabins

I only visited someone who was staying there.log cabin clean and there was a hot tub.very nice.

Ordered cottage pie it came with veg and chips . The food was ok but dry so l asked for gravy and was informed I’d have to pay extra which l did but thought it very unfair as the cottage pie was £13.99For desert a peach melbore for £6 when it arrived there were 4 peach slices very very little ice cream topped up with cheap spray cream out of a tin .I did complain as as was told by a lovely embarrassed waitress that the kitchen refused to top up with a scoop of ice cream saying they had added ice cream but the kitchen is hot and it must have meltedWould not recommend

We stopped in cabin number 6 .Hot tub dirty only 2 or 3 jets work out side decking is rotting under grass matting .outside table n chairs r bent. inside is decent but we just came for hot tub n sit outside. Not worth 200pound for night I will b working people I know not to come . Serving staff very miserable .

Absolutely spot on for the money. Stayed here for a night after Alton Towers and honestly wasn't expecting anything amazing based on other reviews but was completely pleasantly surprised.I found very few negatives about this place and they were far outweighed by the positives so not even worth mentioning. Cabins were clean and had everything we needed, hot tub was lovely and welcomed after a long day around the theme park and the pub was amazing. Food was hot and fresh and the staff so polite and welcoming. Honestly would not think twice about booking here again, fantastic value for money.

Rooms where lovely and spacious plenty of space for 3 adults 1 baby and 1 child.Food at the raddle inn was lovely, and massive portions so great value.We only stayed here because we was at scarefest in Alton towers. Wd didnt explore the area but was quite out of the way but for us wasnt a problem.

We had Dinner at the Raddle Inn and were seated in a heated pod in the garden. Was lovely setting for an evening meal, warm and cosy. Food was top notch and staff were attentive. Fast service.

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of friends. Nice log cabin with a great view. Friendly staff. And I highly recommend the raddle inn for some food.

Beautiful location - as has already been commented on by others. If you come on a sunny day you'll enjoy it to its fullest potential with fantastic views. There are plenty of outdoor areas to sit and drink/eat - including the pods".Staff friendly and helpful - needless to say we had plenty of questions.We dined inside - great character - as someone who likes horses I was interested in the pictures. Apparently the owners used to have a share in a racehorse. (Photos are near the bar!)I opted for vegetarian shepherds pie (guess what - I'm vegetarian) - this was a bit bland

staff consisted of youngers and were inexperienced,the pod we ate in was dirty and unstable,we had to ask for clean cutlery (took 20mins to receive)food was burnt precooked and the fish was burnt but soggy wasn’t worth the money! if you are visiting from Alton towers I wouldn’t recommend eating here it was a big let down! But on a good note the views were nice.
