Went here for breakfast on a day out to Dundee. We enjoyed our food but when it came to pay with card the proprietor had a rant about wanting cash as the cost of using card machine was too expensive and it had caused other cafes to close down. He appeared very angry, not a nice experience nor advert for the cityLater we noticed he had overcharged my card by 15% more than the menu price.

Went in for a quick breakfast and surprised by a delicious meal with a warm and welcoming staff. A well named cafe as everything was perfect. Would recommend to anyone.

Dishonest huckster business that tries to charge you for cheese they didn’t tell you was extra and then try to pretend they don’t take card. A level of conscious dishonesty clearly designed to catch out-of-towners coming from the nearby train station.

Only had coffee and cake but both were very nice and staff gave my daughter a bottle of fruit shoot free and a lollipop so was great customer service. Would have given 5 apart from fact that it's not advertised that it's cash only.

Had to review this as we were over charged i thought at the time it seemed a bit expensive I was charged £16.10 for 2 soups a tea and a can of cola. After checking the cost on the menus it should have been less than £12.00. I would advise that you check when you get the bill. The photo attached is the change from the £20 note i had to go and get from the atm as they don't take cards.

Had a breakfast roll for 5.1£ that had 1 piece of a small sausage and an egg. The sausage only covers 1/4th of the sandwich, It's a ripoffWould not recommend the breakfast rolls. Maybe the other food is good but the rolls are too expensive for what you receive

Heading home after our holiday we decided to grab breakfast. One grandson had bacon and egg baguette the other had beans on toast my mother and I had the full Scottish breakfast. I cannot fault anything with our meals nor our service provided. We'll cooked delicious speedy service and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Dundee.

Decent wee ( very wee) cafe.Run by some lovely Turkish lads. Went midday after visiting Discovery with three very hungry children.Food arrived quickly and the staff were very friendly. Food was cafe quality, unpretentious, and designed to stop you being hungry, not impress Gordon bloody Ramsay. ( Some of the reviewers here need to get a grip with their expectations) but cooked to order and prices were reasonable for a city.Oh, and their milkshakes were EXCELLENT.Gave the kids free lollipops when we left, which was a nice touch.I hadn't read the reviews, and as others have pointed out, it's CASH ONLY!
