Portico Ilford Estate & Letting Agents

I rented a flat through Portico and everything was perfect. Then, on the moving day they gave us 2x box of amenities which made us feel welcomed. Special thanks to Ahsan who was really helpful all the time.

Sadly not a great experience. The Manager (Rash) is a nice guy, but there were several issues when Portico attempted to sell my flat. Lowpoints included one of the agents using the flat as his own private bathroom, exceptionally poor communication, e.g. I had to find out from my own solicitor that a sale had fallen through, as Portico didn't bother to inform me, and (the icing on the cake) one of them giving the key to a neighbour without my permission, allowing her to access my property.I don't like having to give a poor review, but my experience was awful and I can't recommend them.

Worst letting agency experience - AVOID!We booked a viewing with Sami to view a property to rent.When we arrived, we realised there were 15 (!!) groups waiting outside the gate to view the same property. Sami had booked with everyone at the SAME time.To make things worst, out of the 15, only 5 groups managed to tailgate residents into the property and Sami didn't mind leaving the rest of the groups on the street - who were unable to see the property.Sami was unresponsive to calls and texts on the day.Worst experience and customer service we've ever had with a real estate agency in London.

Thank you to Ken & Christos who helped me find a tenant for my property very promptly. They didn’t just send me anyone to put in my property, they liaised and worked with me on a few occasions sending me different tenant proposals to insure I have the best possible tenant for my property. I really would recommend these guys to any landlords who feel nervous about the quality of tenants that may move in.Kindest Regards,

Great staff!The repairs coordinator Kieran made fixing the maintenance issues at our property a very smooth and stress free process!The lettings consultant Jazeb has been very committed and communicative throughout!!

Honestly the most unprofessional estate agency (ilford branch). They do not respond to emails, calls, or any form of communication. It takes months to chase them up for things that can be resolved in a couple of hours.It blows my mind how they do not even return calls back they are usually sat in the office doing nothing most of the day! I see them when i drive past. I am getting tired of having to chase them up for things!They need to start getting things into order. I've had better experiences with other agencies that are less known!

Poor property management.- The repair coordinator is unhelpful and impolite in communication.- I have to keep chasing for the deposit and only get it back three months after moving out.- When returning keys, the office wasn't open during the stated business hours.

I was trying to view a property, but they didn't call me back. Don't know how they sell something, it's better to choose another agency

Sami was great helping me find my property. Very professional, supportive and proactive. I really appreciated all support and I am very happy with all help provided.
