updated June'23The Planets’ estate has their pub back. New management recently took over and we have been in a few times since. Managers and staff friendly and welcoming! At last, a short walk to get a cold pint and now food too instead having to always go into town. Varied options on the menu including a handful of fully plant based options. Prices good too.I hope the residents on the Planets support them and we continue to have a decent, local pub.pre-june'23 - 1 starLocal estate pub; bit of an old man's/ after work pub.Staff indifferent to customers. Menu poor with no decent plant based options.Has pool tables and dartboards and scheduled event evenings.

Lovely roast in the restaurant area for fathers day, great separate sports bar with plenty of darts, tvs and pool tables that offer contactless card payment facility, large beer garden when it's good weather like today, all round a great local. Wish I could get down there more often.

Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Didn't have food but the drinks were fine and not too expensive. Sat outside, which was pleasant enough. Plenty of space.Lots of different rooms inside. Separate areas for pool and darts. Had new owners within the last 2 months, but so far so good
