Absolutely fantastic day yesterday from start to finish.Staff were great at explaining what to do.Would highly recommend hiring a boat for the day.Grandsons loved it as did the 6 adults and dog.Will definitely be booking again as we've decided this is going to be a yearly day out.

We hired a boat for the day for my dads birthday. It was a great experience. We collected the boat at 0930 and were given assistance through the first locke. The gentleman was very informative and gave us some history of the canal. The boat was clean and had all the amenities that we required for our day. Highly recommended if you want a day out in Hebden Bridge. Thank you.

Nice boats, nice canal. However, had to bring boat back 2 hours early due to lock repairs and only had 1 hour discount. We were told that would be met at 3pm. Contacted at last lock as requested and told we would be met. Waited an hour ant marina and couldn’t get a response. Eventually another client who was waiting was told to leave key in the boat. Recommend stopping at pub on way up if you hire the boat and your time is shortened. Or take your own food.

What a wonderful day for the whole family. Party of 12 from 4yrs to 80 yrs . 2 dogs too.Went up to Sowerby bridge and navigated through 4 locks each way. Very clean boat which was easy 2 handle following instructions from the young lad who works there. Right on our doorstop and a fantastic way to view the amazing canal system.Couldnt fault any part of the day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

I can highly recommend this boat company and experience. The boat was basic, but clean and everything that we needed for the day. The toilet was spacious and clean, always a bonus! We didn't use the kitchen as it was warm so we had a picnic style lunch then stopped for an ice cream on the way back.12 of us enjoyed a trip just past lock 14 to Todmorden. It was very picturesque, and quiet. A great introduction to the canals of Britain.Parking was very close, and cheap for the day and Hebden Bridge was lovely for a wander round afterwards.5/5 for a perfect day. Thank you Bronte Boats

We had a great day on the canal. The person who showed us what to do was very friendly and knowledgeable.The boat met all our needs, has a small oven but no pans to warm anything so take your own. It's a lovely way to spend a day.Some of the locks were a bit hard to operate and one was had a padlocked gateWould recommend for something different.
