Good but not great coffee. And overpriced for its quality. Same goes for the brownies.The place looks great and the staff is kind.

The staff are always friendly here, and consistently pull the best espresso shots I've had in Hampshire. I usually just order a plain espresso or americano here, to enjoy the uniquely sweet and fruity taste of the coffee. The smoothies and lunch selection is quite good as well.

One of the best coffee I had in Southampton. Taste of coffee was great. Clean place with good atmosphere and lots of vegan options. also it’s a dog friendly place.

Happy Bean is a great independent at the end of Bedford Place. Everything is vegetarian but don't let that deter you, as even my meat eating friends felt satisfied with the offerings. It can get a little busy and warm but there's water available on tap and the service is quick.

It was my first time to visit this place today. I was looking for a cosy cafe in quiet place to enjoy a decent cup of coffee. I landed at this place and I say it was great. Coffee was rather nice and flapjack cake thingy was delicious. The woman behind the counter welcomed us with beautiful smile and positive energy. Lavatory was clean. Chairs were of random theme so sit on a corner sofa or just casual wooden chairs- your call. Prices were bit high I must say but it was worth the value. Entire experience was good. I would definitely recommend. 5 stars.

Staff are delightful. I came back again the day after close to closing, and they were warm and welcoming as they were clearing up. I'm happy I waited to get my first cup of coffee... left there feeling happy.. everything looked delicious yesterday but I had a packed day so not much time to try a lot but th3 raspberry Croissant was yummy

Very nice atmosphere and better coffee. The outdoor terrace is lovely when sunny. If they were to finally fully pedestrianize Bedford place this could easily become the best terrace in town to have a coffee on a sunny day.

Fun vegetarian Caffe. Rustic vibe. Great coffee. Would recommend the avocado on sourdough with sun-dried tomatoes. A couple of small tables/seating available outside too. Kid and dog friendly.

Wow, such a lovely place to relax or chat with friends and family! I’m personally not a coffee lover or even vegan but the baked goods offering is delicious as well as being so eco-conscious- it’s refreshing! The staff especially are super friendly with fantastic customer service. A good all rounder for a lazy weekend morning, a quick stop on the way to work or the way home and a chilled social! 5 stars xxx
