I was on a day out trip with family in Southend and found this halal fish and chips place ,I was very happy with the food when it arrived as it was freshly cooked and tasted very flavourful and the chicken wings were very delightful and yummy ,I would happily come back here if I do visit Southend again

AVOID! The food quality here is beyond poor and such a waste of money. The pricing does not correlate with the hideous food that you receive. Have a look at the photo- are these oily chips worth anyone’s money??

I came here from London thinking I won't find anything to my liking. I got the king size burger. And it was really good and the amazing thing it was halal. Me and my friends were struggling to find a good store after we went to adventure Island. The cod fish or from what my friends were saying was pretty good but was anticipating a bit more flavour. The customer service was really good. I came here 10 days ago around the 2nd of July.

Sad to say how downhill this place has gone! It is no longer a restaurant you’d feel welcome in for eating in- the staff don’t know where their basic certain things are. You aren’t given plates when eating in, the cutlery and plastic cups are thinner than you could imagine. Their bathroom hygiene was worse than what uni students could achieve. And unfortunately the interior really hasn’t been looked after as there is paint falling off everywhere.I hope they’re able to revitalise this place. The food itself was nice though which is why they get 2 stars instead of 0

Anything buy Royal about this place... firs time and last time today. They've claimed fish was fresh... yeah, right, fresh from the freezer! Fish & Chips soaked in oil very greasy and prices high. Seats look rough with broken red leather seats, and the tray they brought the food had corners chopped but was camouflaged with paper.. lol

Stopped here with my sister for an ice cream. The man working asked what we wanted and then proceeded to get on with preparing his fish and totally ignoring us. Couldn’t believe his rudeness. We ended up just giving up and walking away. There is no way I will ever stop here again. Customer service was zero.

Royal fish and chips probably one of the only Halal fish and chips place but you will get chicken fries and sausage as well..The place was quite average and full..Respectively the owner offered the customer free hot milk for the babies..I personally liked it..If the service and food goes a little better it will go Soo better.

Nice family Fish and chip joint. Had a very nice luch time snack. They are very friendly and nice staff had plenty of space to eat in as have a secondary seating area upstairs. They are competitively price for the coastal area but they offer OAP discounts for customers. Great tasting fresh fish excellent chips. Cant go wrong if you are in the mood for Fish and Chips will not be dissappointed.

Fish snd chips itself is very good and tasty and decent portion although have had bigger.The place is quite dirty and tired, tables left uncleared for ages.Food also took considerable amount of time to arrive and restaurant was very quiet. However that does mean fish was cooked fresh. Curry sauce and sides all cheap and good.
