Frank's The Flooring Store

Recently bought 2 carpets from here. Was helped by Tom who was absolutely amazing, very friendly, and communicated with us very well. Great customer service from him! Gave us good deals with the carpet and even explained the prices and gave us ideal sizes for the carpets that we were looking for. Would definitely come back here again. Great prices and friendly staff with great service!

Fitted carpet today 11/01/2018, terrible service from Franks.Also door bar fitted between bathroom and hallway was uneven and loose, couldn't leave this on as unsafe. Also door bar between kitchen and passage way wasn't flush to the floor, it was loose. A big disappointment and will not use Franks again.

They have alot of carpet and lamanate and the staff are nice

We've purchased 2 carpets from Franks - for our bedroom and for our living room/up the stairs. Both excellent quality at a decent price. Staff in store and the fitters all pleasant and professional

Extremely rude and arrogant sales assistant. I asked to check the measurement of an offcut labed as 4x1.5 and he replied what does it say?" To which I replied "4x1.5" he replied "then it's 4x1.5".Another customer gave me a tape measure and it was actually 1.87. he said it will be rolled on a diagonal but it's very clearly rolled straight. Shame that this persons attitude tarnishes the reputation of the company.The manager here is very helpful and polite."

Really disappointed with the service received here a few months ago. They agreed to do a price match then back tracked a few hours later and turned away business without offering any alternative options. Really can't understand how a business can turn a sale away without any negotiation. Previously used to get all my carpets here, but have now found better options online with an independent local fitter, so never again will they get my business. Moral is to shop around online because much better and cheaper alternatives exist.

Cheapest deal they could do was £1800 odd and the carpet I wanted they quoted over £2000, Karpet Mills fitted better quality carpet than the one I wanted from Frank’s for £1200 which is everything included like underlay and grippers

Absolute shambles of a store. So unprofessional. Waiting in for a carpet to be fitted, and luckily I rang to check the time. The lad said he’d been trying to ring as the fitter couldn’t come because his girlfriend had booked a holiday for him! ( he’d given no notice) (well get rid of your fitter then). I’d had no call. When he checked number he’d rang the wrong number, so I could have been waiting in all day! What was he going to do? Just let us sit in all day and wait? It’s only round the corner. He could quite easily have drove round to tell us. None apologetic about this either, said it was ‘human error’. So the store is ran with fitters who call in absent at the last minute and store staff who can’t even get a phone number correct. DONT GO HERE. Not worth the hassle. Wish I’d read the terrible reviews before I booked. We went elsewhere in the end.
