I would definitely recommend Neil. He was polite and professional, completing the job asked. He also advised us on other things we may need to consider regarding the chimneys at our property and explained the options available in a clear and easily understandable way, without any pressure to commit. I was really impressed with Ashwood Chimney Services. They arrived on time and were very professional. They took the time to safely move everything away and lay down sheets. The Chimney was cleaned and everything was left very clean. I was particularly impressed with the the time taken to also test the chimney.Further to having the chimney clean, Neil who is also in the Fire Service pointed out I didn’t have any Carbon Monoxide detectors and was able to supply and set them up.I would certainly recommend their services!

Neil came to sweep our chimney before the installation of our log burner. He was very flexible with the times he could attend and did an excellent job. He also gave some very useful advice and I will be using him again in the future. Very pleased, thanks.

We had a pigeon come down the chimney one evening with a lot of soot. Neil arrived promptly the next morning, easily captured the bird with no mess and then swept the chimney and put a cap on the chimney top so no more birds. Fully recommend and we will be using next year for our annual chimney cleaning.

Very friendly, professional service. Neil cleaned our chimney to remove a birds nest, as well as adding bird guards / chimney caps. He explained everything and left the room clean and tidy. Thank you - recommended

I rarely write reviews but after Neil’s visit, I felt it deserved a review, he pointed out that the liner in the chimney had a tear, which prompted me call to the installer of the log burner, they will now do a site visit. So a huge thank you for this.He is extremely professional,we have never had such a good service.He also advised a carbon monoxide detector,which has now been ordered.Thanks again, we will see you next year

After a failed attempt by an inept chimney sweep to clear a birds next and a subsequent sweep we finally found Neil’s details. Neil was quick to respond to a voicemail, attended 48 hours after and had no issue clearing the nest. No fuss, no mess. Can’t recommend this chap enough.

Neil was very prompt, quick, clean and polite. Perfect service and a great job done. The log burner is looking cleaner than it was when it was new! I would highly recommend using Ashwood Chimney Services and will most certainly be using them again in the future. Many thanks!Edit: I saw Neil today for another sweep and would like to add that every precaution was taken to be COVID safe, no exceptions. I would say that Neil went above and beyond to make sure of that.

Excellent professional, friendly and clean service. We have been trying to find someone to do cowl work on the top of our chimney but for Neil it was no problem, even with slightly tricky access. He gave a clear quote for the cost and stick to it. He is definitely our go to sweep now.
