Big open green area. Visited while a small Festival was going on. Skatepark, outdoor gym equipment and plenty of seating under and around the tress.

First of all I love the park, I used to walk my dogs there of a night time bacuse I work late but they've started closing it all of a sudden? Is it private land or is it run by the council? Anyone have any suggestions on where I can dog walk late evening?

Everything there for kids, families and sports. There is also a small garden centre and a pleasant coffee shop.

I take my dog here for walks sometimes on a weekend as a change to the usual street walking that he does in the week. There is a small cafe at the top that provides hot and cold drinks as well as food. There is also the option to buy doggy ice-cream. There are some park facilities for the children and a large area for ball throwing if that's what your dog likes. If not then there is a path for you to follow around the park.

It's not a very big park but there's a play area for smaller children and a skate park. There's a memorial to commemorate the local men who gave their lives in the First World War.There's lots of space to walk around or take the dog for a walk.Just off Thorns Road is a small, free car park.
