Nail Lounge - Bordon

I went to the Nail Lounge today for the first time and I will absolutely be coming back!It's such a friendly atmosphere and I felt so chilled on my way out.In the past, my nails have ached after having acrylics on so I haven't done it often, but I went for went for it as almost a 'last go' and genuinely they feel normal now! I am so impressed with how quickly and professionally my nails were done and the variety of colours and designs were amazing. I went for vintage lace for my nails as a trial for my wedding and I absolutely love them.

Quite disappointed with my experience. Only been there twice and got gel powder on my nails. Both times I ended up with stained nails within a week. Went back to the salon and showed the lady who did my nails and she said it must have been something I cooked. She then went to say she didn’t even do my nails and just dismissed me! When I spoke to her the week before I told her I use my hands a lot at school and need something that will last because the first time around the overlay started coming off and my nails were stained. She recommended gel powder again but with gel polish on top and repeatedly told me my nails will last for 3 weeks and look as good as new. Im very disappointed and won’t be going back even though the younger girls were friendly when I first went there and I was hoping to be a loyal customer.

I moved to the area about four months ago and have been here several times for full set acrylics and gel. Personally I love this little salon, so friendly and very good value for money. I can’t fault the nails at all and I am a pain as I have psoriasis and struggle to relax my hands! They are always patient and take extra care.

I have used their salon 3-4 x in total. First time was good, rest not good. Shellac was not taken off properly so next time she had to take it off properly pretending she is surprised her colleague didn’t do a good job (not to mention how it damaged my nails), they never do manicure/pedicure cleaning/skin cutting properly just a quick job no massage or cream either as other salons. Last time was probably worst I almost felt they annoyed they have to do the job , pedicure was done quickly didn’t bother to clean skin around the toenails as asked specifically. I never get a colour I want either apparently they don’t have normal nails polish most gels - what nonsense is this ? Nail salon that can not offer normal nails varnish so they can make more money on scamming people on gel / shellac as this was done twice without my permission as well and I had to tell them especially if they have online booking. Absolutely awful! I was also charged £5 more on my card then supposed to .Other salons I have been to they offer tea or water, they are kind and smiley . This nail salon is not to recommend!

They offer BIAB which I've had a few times now. Good service, always welcoming and friendly. Lots of treatments offered.

Another great appointment at the Nail Lounge. This family is beautiful and really look after their customers. I had SNS dipping powder with white tips and they look amazing. Thank you for being so lovely

The salon offers a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff, but there seems to be an issue with time management for appointments, resulting in longer wait times for those with scheduled bookings. A positive is that they accommodate walk-ins. Although my experience involved the same gentleman, likely the father, handling my nails, and unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with the results most of the time. During my last visit, when I requested a specific nail color, the polish turned out sticky when taking the brush out of the bottle. Despite me offering to change colors, he just attempted to fix it by placing my the polish bottle in hot water, which proved unsuccessful and resulted my nails being splotchy and with a bubbly finish. Consequently, I've decided not to return. I could have said something after he finished although when you spend over an hour there, and have to go to work afterwards I simply didn’t have the time to fuss about it. I’ve noticed other staff are really good with their clients nails so maybe those who have had a similar experience like me with the same gentleman you should maybe speak up to the owner or ask for a certain nail artist. I’ve also noticed some staff using their phones while doing some clients nails… I just think it’s quite unprofessional and simply think it’s rude using your phone or taking a call with family members while doing someone’s nails…. It is something that you can do after your client has left or during your break.. It’s these small details that can be prevented so that a client can feel more comfortable.

Salon allow you to book an appointment via the website and send two confirmations and reminders of your appointment then leave you standing outside the shop and don’t turn up for the booked appointment, I text them and emailed them and no one replied when I advised I was stood outside waiting. I was extremely upset as this was to be my first nail appointment since giving birth so was my first treat to myself . Extremely disappointed and won’t be returning to this salon
