Fish was absolutely wonderful , expensive but then what isn't these days definitely a treat night food but was worth the money .4 star for service only cos it was busy nothing else,Atmosphere 4 star only cos its a tiny shop and gets cramped but over all great food .

Food was good and hot. But was shocked to watch a young man behind the counter, answer the telephone , take cash and use the till and then handle frozen pieces, I assume scampi, with the same bare hands,no washing no gloves no consideration to hygiene

Can this place ever get delivery right. Either there is something missing or they deliver to the wrong address. It's a shame because the food is lovely. Just don't have a clue how to organise orders and deliveries!!!

It's ironic that one might find such a sensational fish & chip shop located not a million miles away from the Derbyshire village that is further from the sea than any other human settlement in the UK. But this little gem in the heart of Leicestershire is fair competition for its counterparts on the coast. In fact, I think you'd likely have to drive the 66 miles to the nearest seafront for a fish & chips anywhere near this good. I would recommend trying their light batter and mushy peas. In short, I'm pleased I live a fair way from the sights and sounds of the seaside and close to the taste and smells of this chippy.

I ordered fish and chips for the family and requested a delivery time. Our delivery was a few minutes early - not complaining! - and the food was well wrapped, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Happy to recommend and will definitely buy again.

Finally I have found an amazing place that sells Gluten Free battered fish!! Has to be the best Gluten Free fish and chips I've tried. Was crispy, tasty, not greasy at all and packaged very nicely for a take away. Thank you!!

45 mins for food to get here and it was cold - when I phoned to check where it was they said it had only just been sent out which cannot be true - had been sitting there for some time.Last delivery they forgot the sauce - won't be bothering again

Highly recommend trying Kibworth Fish Bar again - we weren't too impressed with the quality and service for a while but have had two excellent meals recently, things seem to have really improved! Choice of standard, lighter or no batter, fish was fresh & white and the chips really good too.

It was on the day of some important football match and there were 10 people in front of me while someone was taking telephone orders constantly but there were 7 people Behind the Counter and I received my fish and chips within 15 minutes which was excellent.
