After searching for hours for an online shop that had all the bits I needed in stock, I came across Soar tackle. They had everything I needed in one place, great product range, great price and delivery.Will definitely visit their site again instead of checking the big online suppliers.

This is what a tackle shop should be - lots of quality tackle and good bait, catering to all coarse fishermen on both rivers and stillwaters, not just carpers - although they are catered for very well too.I really appreciated the advice on where to fish and what tactics to use, which resulted in a PB! I will definitely be back!They also sell equestrian stuff in the other part of the showroom - take the missus and kids with you!

Fantastically helpful staff. Scott obviously loves the hobby and knows an enormous amount about local waters. No hard sell on stuff you don't need. Exactly what you need from a small local tackle shop.

Some of the best bait you will find anywhere, only a small shop which mainly stocks middy tackle but if you want large fresh maggots etc come here and support local trade. It's a 15 mile round trip for me to get here but I happy to do that to collect quality bait.

I saw a youtube video of Middy top kits by this tackle shop. I asked a question and it was answered in full and increased my understanding of pole fishing. I then ordered a load of middy end tackle from them and everything I required was in stock, despatched promptly and even had a free Angling Times/Middy booklet inside the delivery when I opened it up. A small touch but it's the small things that make the purchase that little bit special. I cannot fault the service received and I'll order my Middy top kits from them in the future, confident that I'll get a top service. A+++

I am not an angler but I often go in for the lovely selection of gifts and animal feed. The owner sources locally made gifts such as chocolate and candles, excellent and even better it opens on a Sunday. Highly recommend.
