Lisa's Nails

Really disappointing. charged way over what the board stated - yet they argued the fact.£61 for glitter on nail extensions & French polish on toes. Board price came to £46 !!! Claimed I had 2 colours! Rubbish as the base for the nails was the pink powder ! They only put a little glitter on.Nails started lifting only 6 days after having them done.Only went there because Klassy Nails was full. Won’t return here again.Staff quite rude too !!!

I took my two young daughters here as an end of school treat. Not only was one of the staff members rude to my youngest, the polish has peeled off on 4 of her nails in less than 4 hours after application. There was no care taken in applying the polish with no shaping of the nails and the end result looks really half-hearted and rushed on both the girls. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Had my nails done for the first time on Friday morning,had an acrylic french manicure, different people doing them but very happy with the end result,I'm looking forward to coming back again

You’ll be fine as long as you don’t get Lisa! She tries (and fails) to do a set as quickly as possible and they’re ALWAYS terrible. She’s rude and doesn’t care if she causes pain. I have left with bleeding cuticles, cuts down the side of my nail from the file and even burns!! She can’t apply acrylic correctly and they always turn out lumpy and weird. I went yesterday to get infills and was so happy when I got another nail lady, then half way through my appointment, she swaps and Lisa continues. I was gutted as I knew my nails would be awful and it would be a painful 20 minutes. I go to this salon as it is closest to me but I will make sure next time I do not get Lisa. I’d rather wait for the other (competent) girls.

I had gel polish on natural nails with a design. Very lovely and polite and I love my nails. I don't get them done very often but this was my first visit here and I enjoyed it.

Do not recommend the shop to get your nails done. Although I was able to sit down straight away, the lady that done my nails, started off okay. She asked me what I wanted, colour, shape etc. She then proceeded to use the drillbit to buff my nails and prepare them for the tip extensions, but she she clipped my cuticle area a few times which made me bleed. After prompting her that she was cutting me, she pulled me to towards her, and said it’s fine just sit. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I continue to get my nails done. I asked for medium coffin shape and she gave me short uneven nails. I said to her politely that this was not the shape and length I asked for and she said it’s fine. She applied the acrylic powder and flooded my cuticles ok all fingers. Thinking she would clean it up as she goes, but did not. Once she had finished applying the acrylic powder again, she used to drill bit and clipped more of my cuticles area on my fingers again again, I said to her you’re catching my cuticles. She told me to sit be quiet and wait as we were nearly done. Meanwhile, she was on the phone to someone while she was doing my nails, looking at me and smirking and then laughing on the phone.Told me to go and wash my hands.I proceeded to sit down. Now bearing in mind, my fingers are now so sore. She applies acetone on my nails and cuts which you can guess did Sting. She then applied topcoat and then filed my nails more with the nail file, which has left 80% of my nails off shape. Went to go and pay and she charged me £35 for a full set. When the board said £25 , I did ask her why the extra charge and she said I had to tip her for her time, which I did explain to her that I didn’t think this was right, making me tip her £10 when I have not got what I asked for and my fingers are now bleeding. She told me I had to leave the shop. I am writing this review the day after and I can see my nails are already lifting as she has flooded my cuticle area and I’m still picking glue and acrylic off of my fingers will never go there again.

I’m not sure why anyone goes here. I urgently needed my nails done for a holiday and couldn’t get in anywhere else at such short notice.The shop is dirty and very tatty, peeling plastic chairs, and the arms rests for whilst you nails are done are a disgrace.They use those aggressive metal, electric ‘sanders’ which burn your nails.When my girl opened her drawer the nail utensils in her drawer were filthy.I had to put my fingers into s shallow bath of neat, hot acetone. She then dried my hands with a carefully cut 4” square of wafer thin kitchen roll. Everything is clearly rationed. The top and base coat were literally squeezed out of their obviously empty bottles.It’s all about speed, bums on seats, ‘get ‘em in, nails, done, take the £’. No reinvestment at all. They all speak VERY limited English, if at all, so there is no conversation, apart from amongst themselves in Chinese.Cash only, so she obviously pays no tax . I didn’t realise this, and she wanted my car keys as insurance when I went to get cash! No fear!!Dreadful experience. AVOID unless you’re crazy.

Really rude manager who changed the price after it was agreed and the mistake was hers. Never going back here again, I felt so uncomfortable the whole time trying to be convinced to get a more expensive treatment and she stood over me to intimidate me when raising the price. I also got burned on my fingers from them sanding too hard, the design wasn't done with carethey didn't shape them at all even after asking and I had nail polish left around my fingers. They are meant to be cow print and they are messy and carelessly done, no care was taken at all, please do not waste your money just to feel intimidated and bullied as well as have your skin burned.

Really disappointed with my nails today finished off by Lisa herself was charged 28 pounds for a powder infill that on the price board says 20 pounds. Literally used one colour powder besides that she didn't file my nails properly didn't check under the nail for excess pieces and I was literally under the lamp for 30 seconds where one of my nails didn't cure properly so now has almost a cloudy finish. Very dissatisfied I will go back but will never allow Lisa to do my nails again the other ladies there I have never had an issue with.
