Great location for what we required. Jono and Caz extremely helpful. Great hosts. Hot spa outside each night was a bonus. Pod was warm, comfortable and enough space for 2 people. Cows outside the door were most welcome. Very close to part of Hadrians wall walk. Highly recommend this experience.

First time ever glamping and it was amazing! Stayed in the Sycamore, Hot tub was up to temp for us arriving. Very clean pod and very private. Had an amazing stay and would definitely come back! Thank you for a great weekend!

The glamping pod was so clean and beautifully presented, multiple options to go for a walk somewhere! Lots of food options too. Everything about the stay was perfect, loved it all.

Very relaxing, beautiful views, very clean and well laid out. We really enjoyed our stay, could recommend enough. The leaflets left for walks and pubs/restaurants in the area was a lovely touch and the poster about the re wilding of flowers was lovely. Thank you!

We recently stayed at Garthside for a couple of nights to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were on the way up to Scotland from Oxfordshire to visit my parents. The cost of the accommodation seemed reasonable and we had a pleasant and cosy stay. We arrived too late and the weather was too wet to have our planned BBQ on arrival. We also didn't use the wood-fired hot tub until the following morning. We found the water to be lukewarm rather than hot, despite leaving the newly lit fire to heat the water for 50-60 minutes before getting in. It was still relaxing and the smell of burning wood and the view from the hot tub across the fields was great. The kitchen inside the cabin is small and reasonably well equipped: fine for our short stay, but it may have been more of an issue for a longer visit. It took a while for the shower water to heat up but it was fine after a few minutes. The bed was comfortable and cosy, but it was difficult to get out for the person sleeping against the wall. We were very grateful to be able to charge our electric car during our stay using a 3-pin plug beside the car port. The site was very quiet and peaceful and we didn't encounter any of the other guests.

Visited 2 nights, it was beautiful the views were amazing! The pod was clean and tidy. The owners were lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

What can I say an amazing, relaxing stay at Garthside. The pod was immaculate decked out with everything you need in a place away from home. The tranquil surroundings were exactly what was needed away from City life. Rolling fields and wild flower settings greeted us each morning along with a gorgeous herd of cows with not one bit if a whiff. The fire pit and grill were amazing and we enjoyed cooking and eating along with the cows each evening. The hot tub was amazing and easy to fire up relaxing under the evening sky that was peppered with stars like I have not seen before was the cherry on top. Loads of walking trails to explore and historical places to visit but honestly I’d have happily just stayed in the pod for the whole three days. The farm is quiet, the owners were fabulous always on hand if we needed anything just message and replies come straight away. You are left alone to just kick back and enjoy your stay. Will be back for sure. 10 out of 10

What can I say, this place met and exceeded all kind of expectation.The accommodation was really beautiful and there was endless amenities within the accommodation, in the kitchen, living room area, bathroom, in the porch, etc.. I can see so much thought has gone into making sure that the guest feels very comfortable.The hot tub was great! We loved the wood fire stove heating the water, there is something satisfying about you taking your time to prepare the fire, heat the water and then jump into the hot tub after long day of hiking. Then set up the bbq for dinner.We would like to thank the host for setting up such a wonderful place. It is 5.5hours drive for us We will definitely come back next summer.

We stayed at the Field Maple Pod for my birthday weekend. As soon as we saw the place we were in an WOW moment. We are from London so this was absolutely needed staycation. Very neat and tidy Pod as well as all the necessary essentials were provided before hand which was very thoughtful. Our hot tub was all ready when we had reached. Caz was absolutely amazing as on the last night despite being late and drizzling rain she came by to lit up the hot tub for us and enjoyed every bit of the hot tub. We really appreciated the effort she put out for her guests. Please do visit this place as it’s absolutely amazing and we will definitely come back.
