We (due to unforeseen circumstances) needed to book Dan at short notice for our wedding and we are so pleased we did! He was informative, very flexible and incredibly helpful on the day, and still managed to get some wonderful shots of a day we'll never forget and now be able to look back on easily with our fantastic photographs. We had a very wed/windy/time pressured day, and Dan did brilliantly well. His candid approach really got some great photos and honestly, we weren't at all conscious of him photographing us in the slightest. Very happy to recommend him for a wedding, without hesitation.

This is such an easy review to write as I only have glowing things to say about Dan and his services. From our initial emailing and meeting, Dan was friendly and professional and we had such a good feeling about enlisting his services. His website stood out in terms of the clarity of information but also the nature by which he communicated was personable and impressed us from the start. We had an initial catch up for us to ask any questions and for Dan to get to know us as a couple and talk about his work and his style of shooting. We felt incredibly aligned with Dan's way of working - opting for a more natural approach to shooting the day and capturing those candid beautiful shots as opposed to set posed photos. The fact that Dan understands and commits time to getting to know people he works with is rare and definitely pays off in the end result.We were in touch quite regularly, including filling out a questionnaire so Dan could be sure to capture all the necessary information, followed by a call to firm up the plan for the day. We opted for the full day coverage and also the after party.On the day, Dan arrived in good time looking incredibly smart and set to work. He was amazingly flexible and calm while getting beautiful photos. The unique thing about Dan is the real understanding of wanting to capture those key moments while managing to not be an imposing or an unnatural presence on the day, instead he seamlessly blended in to the day, while being cheerful, kind and positive throughout. He was incredibly warm to all our guests, so much so it felt like he was part of the wedding party, while remaining professional and getting all the photos we wanted and more. At no point did we feel separated from our wedding day, or in any way pressured as we had opted for fewer posed shots while getting key ones we did want such as confetti and group family shots.Even during Dan's break, he was uploading and checking over photos. What is clear from time spent with Dan is that working is his passion and he cares deeply about what he does and that level of care shows in the end result. You can also see this in the above and beyond communication throughout the process. At the end of the day, Dan presented us with a selection of polaroid photos so we had an instant reminder of the day. Following that, regular updates and sneak peaks until our photos were ready on our month 'anniversary'. We are thrilled with our photos and thrilled to have made this connection with Dan. I have so many good things to say about Dan and Moment Photography! Booking a photographer for our wedding was one of the first things on my to do list, and we knew we wanted pictures which would capture the day candidly, while still looking beautiful and professional. As a couple, we didn't want too much posing, and didn't need lots of group shots. Our main priority was capturing the vibe" of the day. As soon as I started reading Dan's website

My biggest worry about booking a photograoher was missing out on the day. I'm not one to take a lot of photos to document things myself and like being in the moment. But Dan totally understood this and was so efficent with timings, knowing where to take the best shots so we had a few special photos together, and the rest we could honestly just get on with the day. He wasn't in our faces or constantly hovering like I've had at some weddings I've been to.The booking process was easy too and we simply said what we were looking for and were guided with some ideas we hadn't thought of too. He was really organised and filling details in was all online so we sorted it all out when we were abroad.I'm also surprised at how quickly we got back some snaps to share with family and friends.
