Rotherham Market

Nothing like what it used to be. Rotherham council have left it to be over run by Pakistani stall holders.

Very good. I particularly like going to the Asian stalls that open up on Thursdays

Love the fabric stall on Saturday,Other than that, there aren't many stalls,

Certainly not the best market and if anything seems to be dying. Some of the permanent shops are quite good, but the outdoor stalls are more like a bad car boot sale.

Unfortunately Rotherham Town centre has become a bit run down now,but the market still has lots of stalls and on a Thursday they have stall all round the town centre

Been to the market today and wow how sad is it that you think you can go to an indoor market and keep warm. I went with my 78 year old mother we went in from the outdoor market entrance soon as we walked inside upstairs the warmth was felt BUT as soon as we started walking down the slope to the bottom part it was so cold at first I thought ok the cold from the other outside door is making it cold but to then go right to the other side and walk around I soon realised it was freezing throughout the downstairs. I walked around just to look at the stall holders and could see their noses red hands red and they are working in freezing conditions on Baltic days ! How do you expect people ( let alone pensioners ) to visit your market and be so so cold indoors ! Rotherham markets have been shocking enough as it is but to not keep peiokw warm when they try to shop us a disgrace ! Sort yourselves out Rotherham markets our town is slipping away as it is but doing this in such bad weather is pushing away the few who do visit town ! Suppose you might even say your saving money because your doing all the market up but having a freezing indoor market is no excuse for how your choosing to spend your money. Disgraceful !!

Thursday they have Asian markets. It's busy on the day and parking is limited. There is a car park across the road with some free parked in the Red lined area but hard to find a space. Other option is to park in the Tesco car park next to the free car park but you will need to spend at least £5 in Tesco to park free

Nice people very helpful good butchers and eggs excellent indoor and outdoor but just about to start renovation so looking forward to see the outcome.
